Dr. Martin & her team nursed my dog Rocky back to health after a horrible fall. I thought I might lose him but they were wonderful & 4 years later he's still with me. She also cared for another of my rescues Boston, he had sudden onset of stroke like symptoms or it could have possibly been IVDD. With care & compassion he made a complete turnaround & is doing great 3 years later. I moved an hour away from Kingsville & was very sad that I had to leave Lakeside for the care of my animals. I do think if there was anything really serious in the future I would make the drive though, they are that good.

The staff at Lakeside Animal Hospital are not only kind and trustworthy, but undeniable experts with the services they provide. We brought in a litter of kittens to have taken care of before finding them forever homes but before doing so, they suggested a "meet your vet" appointment before hand to make sure we were comfortable with our decision in advance. Would recommend to anyone! Keep up the great work!

I highly recommend Dr. Martin and her team. They currently take care of my 3 pets - 2 cats and 1 dog. Dr. Martin is both compassionate and knowledgeable and focuses on evidence-based care. All the pets love her and her staff. There have been many times where she has gone the extra mile without charging for it. She is well connected and has recommended trainers that are amazing and affordable. I would recommend Dr. Martin's team to anyone.

Took our 3 year old dog in to get her teeth/plaque cleaned. Vet pulled 8 teeth and didn't call us or ask first!! She took out all teeth that the dog uses to chew with at 3 years?? So the vet tells us that they don't normally call before extracting teeth since their "paperwork" says that this procedure MAY include extractions. That's a line of BS no matter how you slice it. So the vet just does whatever she wants instead of consulting with the owner first. At least the dentist has the courtesy to tell you before pulling your child's teeth but I guess you pet is sub-class and doesn't require that kind of courtesy. She also says she knows better what my dog feels and needs and says that the dog was having all kinds of pain, which she wasn't. We've accidentally stepped on her paws and the cat has bit her ear so we know what pain feels like to her since she yelps when that happens. The dog was using her chewing teeth with no problem up to the day they got pulled. Vet says the dog has a higher threshold of pain. That's great as our dog demonstrated that by having no problems with her teeth and never showing us that there was any distress. Still, the teeth got pulled and we were not notified first. Will never use this vet again and would recommend you go elsewhere as well. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!
