Amazing vet! I've been going here with my Dog and Kitty for about 5 years now. Caring staff, and can always get you right in. They go through the treatment plan along with prices before anything is started and they don't force unnecessary items on you. There is no judgement. The prices are extremely reasonable!

The staff are friendly and professional and all in all, she's a good vet. We did have a recent negative experience with my cat, but she called to try and make things right, as well as apologizing for any mistakes made. That was what made the most difference for me.
They also call to follow up on how your pets are doing after appointments and procedures, and Dr. Sandhu is willing to come in after hours if you have any serious problems, which is a rare quality in many vets.

Worst vet I've ever seen. Unknown to me my cat had a broken pelvis and broken femer when we got her. We noticed that her right hip sat a half inch higher then her left hip. The "VET" told us that was normal. We'll guess what that isn't normal. Then because the breaks didn't heal properly she ended up with mega colon. My wife researched it. And told the Vet this and she said no she just has inflamed bowels. She got to the point where she was 4 lbs not eating not pooping. We told her we wanted to go to guelph animal hospital. 2000 dollars later the real vets at guelph told she did indeed have maga colon. Now my cat has had a life of pain and cost me close to 10000 dollars in meds and vets visits. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Parkdale Animal Hospital is where we go now and we couldn't be happier.

It's a no frills operation but that's fine with me as their prices are so reasonable. There have been a few minor problems with my dog and cats during the last few years and they've always suggested a cautious yet appropriate form of action so that I don't risk my pets health and at the same time don't spend an unnecessary amount of money. There follow-up is also really great as they called twice to see how my dog was doing when he had a scratched cornea.

The only vet I could find that doesn't charge ridiculous prices for spay and neuters! Not only was it a great price to neuter our kitten, but we saved an extra $15 by bringing our own cone. I had a few questions about the healing process after the surgery, and the staff was great at returning my calls and answering my questions. Dr. Sandhu even gave me her personal number and asked that I send pictures of my kitten if I had any concerns about how he was healing/infections etc. Truly a great vet clinic.

I didn't have a very good experience at this animal hospital. I went there to get medicine for my dog due to the fact that she had a tape worm. We had treated her for this with medicine from a pet store. The vet at this location did an examination and told me that her teeth were really bad. She then proceeded to tell me that she is in pain due to this and that if I didn't do anything about this in the next two weeks she would call the SPCA on me for neglect/animal abuse. Now this is a huge surprise to me and put me in panic mode knowing that my girl friend has a dog at the same address. She has had her dog for 15 yrs. and they would take her as well. We took my dog to a different vet and they said that her teeth were bad but to call the SPCA on us was uncalled for.The new vet was very understanding and kind to both animals. The vet at this location I found harsh, rude and only wanted to sell me medicine that was not needed. My dog is not in pain and not in need of antibiotics. I had brought in a fecal sample which was not needed as the vet saw the worm crawling out her butt. But still asked me if I wanted it to be sent away for testing at which time I declined. The vet made sure that it was stated on the receipt I declined the sample to be sent away for the price. Please make sure you get the best vet for your pet!! I would stay away from this location!!!!!

We are new to Bruce Street Animal Hospital, and so far, we only have great things to say. Their staff is always friendly, efficient and helpful. We have a new puppy, and an old cat, and they are amazing with both. Their prices are great, and they are not pushy in any way. They always make you feel comfortable and respect your decisions and concerns. I am very happy we have found them, as we have not had such great veterinary service in the past.

I just started at Bruce street this summer. I took my dog Charlie and was very happy. I was not pushed into any thing I did not want or need. When my cat got sick I took him there and had blood work done unfortunately he was too sick so the next day I had to say goodbye. They were very good at explaining the process and gave me and my family time to say good bye to our much loved cat. I was very pleased. And when I went in the following mth. With my new cat that I found in a ditch and he had flees and needed shots. They were all very helpful and explained everything to me that needed to be done. And what too look for.

I didn't have a very good experience at this animal hospital. I went there to get medicine for my dog due to the fact that she had a tape worm. We had treated her for this with medicine from a pet store. The vet at this location did an examination and told me that her teeth were really bad. She then proceeded to tell me that she is in pain due to this and that if I didn't do anything about this in the next two weeks she would call the SPCA on me for neglect/animal abuse. Now this is a huge surprise to me and put me in panic mode knowing that my girl friend has a dog at the same address. She has had her dog for 15 yrs. and they would take her as well. We took my dog to a different vet and they said that her teeth were bad but to call the SPCA on us was uncalled for.The new vet was very understanding and kind to both animals. The vet at this location I found harsh, rude and only wanted to sell me medicine that was not needed. My dog is not in pain and not in need of antibiotics. I had brought in a fecal sample which was not needed as the vet saw the worm crawling out her butt. But still asked me if I wanted it to be sent away for testing at which time I declined. The vet made sure that it was stated on the receipt I declined the sample to be sent away for the price. Please make sure you get the best vet for your pet!! I would stay away from this location!!!!!

The Receptionist was very friendly both on the phone and in person. She was very informative about issues within our area involving ticks. Our puppy loved her and she handled him very well. The Dr did a thorough and quick exam. The prices are great. Much lower than I was expecting. I highly recommend them.

We are new to Bruce Street Animal Hospital, and so far, we only have great things to say. Their staff is always friendly, efficient and helpful. We have a new puppy, and an old cat, and they are amazing with both. Their prices are great, and they are not pushy in any way. They always make you feel comfortable and respect your decisions and concerns. I am very happy we have found them, as we have not had such great veterinary service in the past.

I took my kitten, Makea to her first vet's appointment here and was very pleased leaving! My kitten was very relaxed, as was I. The staff, and other patients, and owners were very friendly and down to earth. They checked all concerns I had with my kitten, and more, making sure she had a clean bill of health. I will be returning!

I just started at Bruce street this summer. I took my dog Charlie and was very happy. I was not pushed into any thing I did not want or need. When my cat got sick I took him there and had blood work done unfortunately he was too sick so the next day I had to say goodbye. They were very good at explaining the process and gave me and my family time to say good bye to our much loved cat. I was very pleased. And when I went in the following mth. With my new cat that I found in a ditch and he had flees and needed shots. They were all very helpful and explained everything to me that needed to be done. And what too look for.
