There is no one I trust more when it comes to the health of my two cats. I originally brought them in because the vet at my local clinic kept changing and I needed to get my two 15lb cats to slim down. The guidance I received allowed me to achieve that goal. I have left 3 messages with no return call back. I finally did get through and was told as she hadn’t seen my elderly cat in many years, she considered me a new client was too busy and wasn’t accepting new patients. She also said she found my behaviour in calling several times unacceptable. She then hung up on me. I don’t understand this. I called 3 times yesterday and left 2 messages. I called 3 times this morning and left 1 message. I’m a senior and just need help with my elderly cat. She was a really great vet in the past. She looked after our old cat and this one when we got her. Don’t know what happened. Read Less

Bonnie Worthen is the BEST vet I've ever encountered. She is knowledgeable, communicative and honest. She won't sugar coat anything, but takes the time to explain and answer all questions - despite being incredibly busy. I never have a problem booking an appointment, and I've even been fit into cancellations or after-hours appointments. I have been taking my kitty here for almost 15 years and have been extremely pleased with Dr. Bonnie. She has a keen awareness of all the subtleties of feline health and behaviour, and is a lovely person to boot. She gives the best care to her patients for a reasonable price - she or her staff won't try to upsell you on anything. I have been taking my cats to KW Cat Hospital since 1999 and can say that the care they have received is absolutely amazing. On occasion the vet has even come to my house to provide care for my one cat. The vet and staff are in my opinion very professional. Last weekend my cat Winston had to go to the emergency to get his bladder unblocked. After the procedure Winston needed a check up. Since we did not have a stable vet we were referred by a family member to doctor Bonnie. Having called around 5 times during working hours and not receiving any response I went to the clinic myself. The matter was urgent and I was worried that my cat's recovery was not going as it should. After explaining the situation, the doctor shamed me for not giving the cat a different treatment (the benefits of which were not fully communicated to me at the emergency hospital). She said she would not take us because she did not want clients who cared less about the cat than she did. I was distraught and insulted. The doctor assumed I was an inadequate care giver based on incomplete information. When I asked her to recommend another vet, she said there are many good ones, and I should just choose one close to home. Completely unprofessional. Read Less
