We took our cat Scout there and the news we received wasn't the greatest. Dr Anna had the absolute best bedside manner. She was really comforting and followed up with us the next day to see how Scout was doing. I did not expect the amount of kindness, compassion and care we received. It has just floored me. Always a pleasure dealing with staff and Dr Amber. They are helpful and respectful of you and your pets needs without pushing unnecessary treatments and expenses on you. They truly put a great deal of effort and compassion into their work. Usually a good stock of food on hand as well, but you can always call ahead and ask to have some put aside. Highly recommended!

We cannot say enough good about this animal hospital. Dr. Gerald and the team recently helped us through a grave illness with our dog and were so kind and comforting to us as she passed. They have always been fair in getting us in quickly, and in all aspects of billing. They have a very skilled and competent team of people who truly care. We have been with them for decades and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I've been going here since 2009. My dog has had a lot of health problems, so we go frequently, which he loves! The last couple of years, I've mainly seen Dr. Gerald and Dr. Amber. They, as well as the vet techs, have been thorough, dedicated, and caring. I have never been rushed. The vets have been open to my questions/requests for different pain medications and approve of a home-cooked diet.
MAH offers physiotherapy and laser (which I've done), a yearly wellness plan with monthly payments that includes a discount for visits, and lots of parking.
They're always able to fit me in on the same day I call and are quick to email back.

We have seen Dr. Amber and Dr. Natalie and they are both extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and very kind. The techs and reception team are fantastic too! I am thrilled to have found this clinic! I've taken my last 3 dogs to the same vet in Ancaster, and was happy. But my dog hates travelling. So, on a friend's recommendation I tried this clinic. I was beyond happy with the experience! Even happier than I've been at my old vet! A special thank you to Dr. Reid who gave my dog a very thorough exam, wasn't in a rush, and answered all of my questions! She even saved me money by explaining each vaccine, how often they need to be given, and I discovered that I've been getting them more often than I had to! I love that my baby is going to be in such good hands

Switched to Mitchell Animal Hospital when my dog became sick these past couple of days. Both of the receptionist's I spoke to on the phone were excellent, and all of the staff extremely friendly upon our arrival. The Dr there was extremely helpful and provided us with lots of information. Left feeling great about our visit and much better about how my dog was feeling. We are so glad we switched!

While I do like Dr Gerald he was not available to see my dog who was found through blood work to have kidney failure. He was end stage. The young female vet who was assigned him neglected to do a critical test which could have helped, days later he passed, in a very uncomfortable way. months later I got a puppy. I took her to Mitchell for spaying and was assigned the same vet. I was nervous, I waited at home for my phone call to pick her up. The phone call I received was to tell me my pup died on the operating table. Two dogs gone in three months. I was devastated. I wanted answers, this vet promised me a post mortum report which I never received. I still believe she made an error and it was not disclosed to me. Needless to say I have a new vet who recently neutered my new pup, success!

We are more than happy to have found Mitchell Animal Hospital for our cat. Dr. Gerald Gyorffy was just amazing with out cat (he handled our problem cat with ease and gave us some valuable tips (which he demonstrated) and what kind of companion to get him, what diet will suit him, etc) He spent over 30 minutes (probably more like 45 minutes) with us explaining different approaches, and answered all our questions in detail. He truly cares about animals and it really shows. Very reasonably priced also.

While I do like Dr Gerald he was not available to see my dog who was found through blood work to have kidney failure. He was end stage.
