Westheights is by far the cheapest option in the KW region, but it is NOT the best. In my experience they were irresponsible, uncaring and more expensive in the long run than a regularly priced and good quality vet clinic.
While their base rate for a checkup is fairly cheap, EVERYTHING costs extra, and I literally mean EVERYTHING. They also tried to get us to buy things for our cats that we didn't need, e.g Revolution even though both our cats are life-long indoor pets and showed no signs of fleas.
Another issue is that both vets are extremely hard to understand because they have heavy Indian accents, this made communication very difficult.
To boot, the Vet Tech/Secretary also wrote down the wrong phone number and was literally calling the wrong number to notify us. We had no clue we had a set of shots left to do, and ended up having to PAY again for ALL the shots because the maximum time of a few months had passed. The communication issue was on their end, yet we paid for it.
Finally, their diagnosis and treatment is not thorough or well informed. One of our cats had an eye infection of some sort and the eye cream they prescribed us was A) for dogs, and B) didn't work. Yet, when we came back a second time and paid for another visit, they literally just gave us the same eye cream AGAIN. That extra appointment totaled to at least 60 bucks, for no results.
Summary: If you're just using Westheights Vet for a Spay or Neuter, then this vet is the cheapest and best option, but for any other issue such as sickness or even shots they are not worth it. Communication is horrible, they overcharge for small extra things and do not perform thorough checkups. The money you'll have to pay in follow-ups or on other vets makes it worth it to go to another, more expensive and responsible vet clinic. Needless to say, we will be bringing our cat elsewhere for her yearly check ups. Read Less
