Dr. H and his staff did absolutely everything they could to help me accommodate the difficulty inherent in catching and fixing 5 feral cats on my property. They took the cats whenever I could catch them without charging me for boarding, and they cut me a break wherever they could on the costs for what medical assistance they needed. For less than a third of what other vets in town cost for the same procedures, all 5 cats are happy and healthy and were back running around outside the same day they came home. I couldn't possibly recommend these guys more. Ask the other vets what they're doing for your money that Dr. H. Isn't. The answer is lining their pockets. I will be forever grateful for Dr. H's help. I drive all the way from Windsor just to take my cat to Erie Vet. Jessica is always understanding, as I often have to change my appointment due to my work schedule changing last minute. Our Sofie pup had recent dental surgery which had a lot of challenges. Dr. Hussain explained our options thoroughly and the risks involved. I recently called the Erie Veterinary Hospital to inquire about getting my cat's back legs declawed. I asked about the cost and the receptionist told me a price and I thought it sounded reasonable ($160 plus pain meds) so I booked an appointment the following week to have the declawing done. My husband dropped off the cat and at that time they told him another price which was over $120 more than what they had told me over the phone. My husband called me after he left and told me it was going to cost quite a bit more than they told me over the phone. I told him that I had talked to the receptionist and she even pulled up my cats previous history, I thought there must have been some misunderstanding. The procedure was done and the receptionist phoned to let me know when our cat would be ready to be picked up and I asked her about the big increase in the cost. I explained that I was told a price over the phone and that was the reason I choose to take my cat to that particular vet. She told me she would talk to the vet and return my call. A few minutes later Dr. Hussain phoned me with a VERY rude tone of voice. I asked him why there was such a difference in price and I told him that I felt that I was mislead over the phone. He then got VERY angry and upset and told me he wouldn't talk to me anymore and hung up the phone. I was politely asking him some questions that I guess he didn't want to answer! NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN! How do you expect to run a good veterinary hospital when you treat people with such disrespect? Read Less
