As health care professionals, the care our Vet provides to our four-legged family members is as important to us as the care our Family Physician gives our two-legged ones. Dr. Alex Soltan’s approach to her patients is always evidence-based and evidence-informed. She does not rush appointments and takes time to explain current epidemiological trends in our area that may affect our animals as well as the best formulation for vaccines she is using and why, based on research. She is thorough, providing options for care when they exist. She is knowledgeable about the psychological, emotional as well as physical life of our pets related to their breed and in the case of our rescues, has directed us to resources that will help us better understand and look after them. For these reasons some of our region’s service and facility dogs serving Southwest Ontario’s most vulnerable humans, are in her practice. Dr. Soltan’s predecessor, Dr. Susan MacNabb, another extraordinary Vet, choose well when she retired leaving LAH in Dr. Soltan’s capable hands. LAH’s vet techs Carrie, Ashley and Tabitha are knowledgeable, caring and compassionate and have been in this practice for some time providing state of the art and personalized care under Dr. Soltan’s direction. We Highly recommend LAH. Read Less
