The assistants are wonderful and loving, the vets we met are knowledgeable but you do need to watch for scare tactics and unnecessary tests and costs. They were more than a little too happy to test for everything under the planet and keep our cat for several days of observation. Read Less

Unfortunately my boyfriends family dog was suffering from reoccurring cysts that would break open and bleed and would be incredibly painful. We had done surgery to see if that would help, several rounds of antibiotic and antihistamine drug therapy - and seen not much relief. He was 15 and had a happy loving life. We had to make a decision to prolong the inevitable or to let him go now before he was suffering too much. Dr. Finney and the staff at London North Animal Hospital we’re so compassionate. You could see the receptionist and vet tech fighting tears and sadness. They waited for one of our family members to get there to be able to say goodbye to Sampson. They explained every step to us and reassured us that this was the best decision for Sampson so that he would leave the world loved and surrounded by his people. The staff stayed beyond their shifts it seemed because one of the girls was leaving as soon as our experience was over. I will never forget how wonderful everyone was for us during this time. It was so hard to say goodbye to such a good sweet boy. They told us how sorry they were for our loss and that he was loved and you could see it in his happy face that he knew that we loved him. We held him as he slipped away and they took care of the rest. He was made comfortable, they let us take all the time we need. Sampson will be missed but we will never forget how wonderful everyone was to us during such a dificult time. Don’t take your pets anywhere else. They are reasonably priced. But the care and compassion both your animals and yourself receive is what’s a seller here. Read Less

Great place to take your pets! The staff really go above and beyond to make the trip to the vet not stressful. Dr. Hopper has been our vet for years and she's very knowledgable. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and we're always able to bring them all in together. The wife and I both work late and it's very convenient that we can come in after 6 without paying extra. We have been bringing our cats here since the clinic opened which is great as it is so close to the house. One of the cats had a urine infection last week and they got us in fast as I was worried sick not knowing what was happening. Buster ended up with a urinary block and needed to be kept there for a while he is so much better now and I am very happy to have him home again. I take my dog Frankie here. She is very scared of the vet and becomes stressed out as soon as she gets there due previous problems at another vet. The staff here are amazing and always go out of their way to make her feel safe and comfortable. Excellent group of people here at North London Animal hosptial. Our puppy died from an awful car accident. They were very sympathetic and kind with helping us cremate our puppy's remains. Today We received a touching card from the clinic in the mail a week after the incident. I brought my puppy to this hospital last week as I was very worried about her. She had been not eating and throwing up. The girl on the phone was very helpful and they got us in right away. I was so worried but the lady vet there Dr. Hopper was very nice. They did x-rays and found out that she didn't need an operation, but they gave her some medication to take. The cost for all of this was much less than I thought it would be and I'm so grateful for the help they gave us. I had an emergency with my ferret Max and unfortunately, he did not make it due to unknown causes. I was new to London, and he needed immediate attention the day I was moving and I brought him in as soon as I could. Max passed away prior to seeing the vet for his emergency appointment... The vet walked in and she did not acknowledge me at all. Didn't even look at me. I was clearly sobbing as the news broke that my furbaby had passed away, but she didn't even have the courtesy to say hello or ask how I was. Immediately, still crying, a technician came to discuss payments of cremation and sign euthanasia papers. I was amazed by the lack of compassion from them. I never met the vet personally, she walked right by me ignoring me, and the technician spoke about money right away. I will be staying away from this clinic and will never come back. Shame that the staff lack compassion and have shown me they are money-driven.Read Less

My roommate found a deep cut like a hole punch right above Zeus genitals and it was filled with puss and bleeding and I took him back to the vet I spent $400 for the neutering 6 days ago, and because It had nothing to do with the incisions from the surgery (apparently), they ignored his cut and told me he's fine. And now it looks even worse and I called them back and the vet said she never saw it but its right next to his balls. Not impressed at all. Read Less

This review is long overdue. We cannot thank Dr. Hopper and the team enough for their amazing care and compassion. Last year, when it came time for my sweet little guinea pig to cross the rainbow bridge, we made the decision to euthanize her instead of watching her suffer at the end. I love all my fur babies - guinea pig or not. They hold a special place in our lives no matter the species. We called ahead (me in tears), with an emergency situation on a Saturday night and asked if they had room for us. The team was so compassionate. We were not regular clients of the clinic, but the team treated us as if we were family and took us in. The promptness of care we received, coupled with the compassion of Dr. Hopper and the team is something we will never forget. MooMoo left a spot in my heart that I have not replaced. But if I did have another pet, I would certainly be a client! I'm happy to recommend this extraordinary clinic to anyone who is looking for an exceptional team. My dog had stopped eating, threw up twice, and then had diarrhea late at night, I was very worried. I usually take my dog to King Animal Clinic, and it was closed, but their answering machine said to call here. I was a little worried about money before I went there, but I found that the cost was reasonable. They gave me a couple different options and let me talk it over with my husband on the phone before deciding. I really liked the doctor they had on, she was very nice. The receptionist was very helpful and understanding. By the next day, my dog was much better and I was very relieved. I would highly recommend this clinic, I had a very positive experience. Read Less
