Last week our poor cat was suffering from a UTI, and was in and out of her litter box dozen of times within the hour I got home, and trying to urinate outside the box as well. I knew something was wrong, and when my boyfriend got home I told him what was going on, and he could see for himself that she wasn't feeling so well and she looked as if she was in pain. So, we took her here, because this is the only emergency vet hospital open 24/7. Put her in her carrier and off we went.Thankfully it wasn't that busy tonight, there wasn't anyone in the waiting room when we arrived, and our information was taken quickly and the receptionist was really nice and took us to a room right away and told us the wait time at the moment was about a half an hour. Which was fine, we understood that this was on an emergency basis, and our cat was just sitting in her carrier. Not long after a vet tech came in, and got a history of our cat, weight and temperature (that was fun). Our cat was very scared and when she can bite hard, so luckily the vet tech, who was the sweetest person, very calm and took in everything, was very patient with our cat, who is around 8-10 years of age, so she's not a young cat. We had to wait a very long time for the actual veterinarian to come in and assess the situation. The examination was $89, but then you had to add on top of that x-rays, medications, etc. Since they are a business, they did try to talk us into some things, but she said she would diagnose via her symptoms.Three hours later and $287 later, we finally were on our way home, and I think our cat was glad to go home too. We had one xray done, which was $75, the medication in liquid form was $50 ($25 if you get pills, but I had no idea how we could give it to her) and pain meds were about $25 as well. We did forgo the extra xray, and the shot to prevent her from throwing up, which she hasn't done since last week, so we're doing well. I am glad there is a place to take our pets in an emergency, but it's like a hospital emergency room for humans, but for your pets. It's been almost a week and our cat is feeling much better and back to herself. So I am really happy that they were able to help her feel better. In conclusion, we only came here out of emergency and this is the only place in the city that is open 24/7. Unless your pet is severely injured or not feeling well and you can't wait until the next morning for a regular animal hospital to open, this will be the place you'll have to go. Not bad, long wait, based upon the emergency of the situation, you will get seen, but it is expensive. Read Less
