I Initially took my border collie pup here when he was sick and the staff were incredibly friendly to deal with. My experience was so pleasant I have brought him back to be fixed and will be using this vet for all future needed vet visits. The location is rather remote for many, but so far, I'd say it's worth the drive.
2 visits in so far, but all the staff I've encountered have been very polite, friendly and inviting.
The doctor was exceptional. She took the time to do proper exams without rushing, took the time to answer all my questions (and I had many). Everybody was very compassionate.
I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I have had dogs and cats for the better part of the last 15 years, and have lived in various cities in southern Ontario. I have yet to visit a clinic that comes close to the quality at Oakridge. The entire staff is friendly, VERY knowledgable and caring. The general vibe at the clinic is always warm, calm and caring. They have always gone above and beyond my hopes/expectations. The staff and Dr's have always done anything/everything they can for both my animals and myself.
My only wish is that I had found them sooner.

Truly amazing people!!! I wish they could be my health care provider. You will be hard-pressed find a more loving, caring and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Truscott, Caitlin and Nicole have treated our pets for years and from newborns to the "trip to the other side of the rainbow" they have treated our "four-legged" family as they would their own. We never have to worry about their care and handling because we know that they are receiving the best care there is. 5 stars is not enough stars when it comes to rating the Oakridge Animal Clinic.

Today was our first visit with our Bella girl (bulldog) From the moment my husband and myself walked in we were nothing but impressed. From the welcoming comfy entrance (hot coffee on a very cold day) from The comfortable examining room. Our doctor was very professional and approachable with everything. Walking us through every step and how much those steps would cost right up front with no hidden areas. They treated our Bella with care and love. Right off the bat you can see how happy the staff is and how much they love their jobs, and that's so refreshing too see and be apart of. Thank you too everyone that made our first of many too come very positive.

I was referred here by my neighbour who has been going there for 27 years. She'd gone on about how caring they were and I have to agree. I brought my new puppy here for his first shots and was very impressed with all the staff and the doctors. It's been over a year now since I first came and I could not imagine a better place for Major. He's always happy when he comes in the door. Maybe its the treats he gets! Very caring and compassionate. They explain everything they are doing and why, and I am always told about the cost up front. What lovely people at Oakridge!

Truly amazing people!!! I wish they could be my health care provider. You will be hard-pressed find a more loving, caring and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Truscott, Caitlin and Nicole have treated our pets for years and from newborns to the "trip to the other side of the rainbow" they have treated our "four-legged" family as they would their own. We never have to worry about their care and handling because we know that they are receiving the best care there is. 5 stars is not enough stars when it comes to rating the Oakridge Animal Clinic.

I was little apprehensive how she would make out. Jessica; our Groomer was amazing. Kind, patient, caring & professional. Lucy did just fine, she looks adorable with her new haircut. A little frustrating to go in by the recommendation of the receptionist (rather than wait and see if things clear up) and end up having to pay $86 dollars to find out nothing is wrong.

Today was our first visit with our Bella girl (bulldog) From the moment my husband and myself walked in we were nothing but impressed. From the welcoming comfy entrance (hot coffee on a very cold day) from The comfortable examining room. Our doctor was very professional and approachable with everything. Walking us through every step and how much those steps would cost right up front with no hidden areas. They treated our Bella with care and love. Right off the bat you can see how happy the staff is and how much they love their jobs, and that's so refreshing too see and be apart of. Thank you too everyone that made our first of many too come very positive.

I was referred here by my neighbour who has been going there for 27 years. She'd gone on about how caring they were and I have to agree. I brought my new puppy here for his first shots and was very impressed with all the staff and the doctors. It's been over a year now since I first came and I could not imagine a better place for Major. He's always happy when he comes in the door. Maybe its the treats he gets! Very caring and compassionate. They explain everything they are doing and why, and I am always told about the cost up front. What lovely people at Oakridge!
