Dr. Yelen and all of the staff are amazing. It is very clear that he truly loves animals and cares about every aspect of their well-being. He is very clear about why he does and doesn't do things and even opts out of things that he says aren't truly necessary for our situation when other vets probably would have done them anyway because it would cost us more money. I had a really difficult time when my cat had to bright to an emergency veer office and Dr. Yelen called me to go through what was happening to him there and after we had to unfortunately put the cat down they sent us a card and he even talked with me about it over Facebook messenger which was the greatest comfort I ever could have asked for. TO YVETTE B COLLINGS - YOU ARE WRONG. First of all, do you have any evidence of this conversation with the previous owner? Is the previous owner reliable? Are you reliable? Why does this cat keep breaking it's leg? What did you do to it? And every doctor should change over 6 years - there is a great deal of learning that goes on during 6 years of vet experience. Perhaps this change in perspective is a sign of growth and a demonstrates that Dr Yelen is not set in his ways and is open to new ideas. And i can put a picture of anything on my FB page, it doesn't mean I operated on it. What i am hearing is that Dr Yelen was honest about his limitations with respect to treating your cat. I have never meet a vet and staff more dedicated to helping family pets, and finding forever homes for the ones who need a warm and loving place to live.
