Today I had an appointment for 11:30 with Dr Patel. He was was very rude and unprofessional, he said that he could not give my dog < long haired Rottwelier > her rabies shot because of her not get previous by them. I stated to him the that our other dog has been there more than 5 times and got all his shots. My wife had already had set up the appointment and filled in the online patient. They said they didn't have it and gave me another form to fill out. I called my wife to call them to verify the appointment was set prior to today. With that we went into the examination room.
Mr patel asked me why my dog was crying , I told him my dog was afraid and abit stressed new place and all. long story short, he tells me HE's afraid of my dog becaue of the way she was acting. I said to him your a vet you shouldn't be afraid of dogs or any animal in that nature. I said if you cant do your job because your afraid of my dog, Ill go. Mr Patel replied your racist....I was shocked . I said to him do you know why black people are afraid of dogs ....because people used them to hunt slaves. he walked out of the room where other people heard what he said but said nothing in my defence < THANK YOU YOUR A CLASS ACT> I left after that.. PLease if you are a colored person or any ethnic background DO NOT go there they dont respect you they just want your money.

Probably one of the best vet clinics we’ve been to. Dr. Patel was so friendly and knowledgeable and very reassuring. I called in a panic around 4pm and was able to be booked in for the same day at 530. Definitely recommend and will be going back to him.

Having called somewhere else in a panic I turn up to Pond Mills at 4pm the day before Good Friday. My cats back legs went all weird at home and by the time we got there which was less then 5 minutes...
Having called somewhere else in a panic I turn up to Pond Mills at 4pm the day before Good Friday. My cats back legs went all weird at home and by the time we got there which was less then 5 minutes my cat seemed fine. But it happened again while at the vets. Dr Patel was very helpful. He had to take blood from my cat who at the best of times doesn’t like to be held. My cat who isn’t normally viscous had to have the mask on him but the doctor was calm and was as quick as possible. He told my father and I that he would call Saturday as it was Easter and was closed on today (Good Friday) but was kind enough to call today even though it is a holiday. He listened to our concerns because my cat is older and a rescue cat.

Dr. Patel is the only vet who I trust with our dog's health. The folks at Pond Mills Animal Hospital are friendly, knowledgeable and best of all, truly caring. Each time I've been here I leave with a smile cause I'm reminded of how truly caring they are for their patients. I was fortunate enough several years ago, to be referred to this clinic through a co-worker. We had an emergency situation with our dog and Dr. Patel took us in at the last minute and stayed well past closing hours to thoroughly go over all of the issues, medications, tests and results that he performed. He took the absolute best care of her and us, including follow up calls to make sure she was doing ok. We are so grateful for his kindness and compassion every single visit, I've been to larger, more commercial type animal hospitals€, as my dog is very high maintenance, and I have never received the level of care that this clinic gives. You couldn't pay me to go elsewhere. Highly recommend Dr Patel, highly!

I moved to from Toronto to London a year and a half ago and my family has extended to include Jack, Eli, Angle and Lucy. Lucy was the last cat to come into our family and after a few days I knew something was not right with her. I came home one night and Angle had a very bad eye infection. I drive by Pond Mills animal hospital everyday and called them in tears right away. They told me to come right over. The minute Dr Patel had her in the exam room I knew everything was going to be ok and this was the vet for me. Dr Patel treated Angle like she was one of his own. He took time to make sure all my questions were answered. After all was said and done Jack, Angle and Lucy got sick and Dr Patel made sure they were all taken care of. Also to my shock and amazement I got a call a few days later to see how they were doing. Eli had also had issues with his eyes since I got him. I took him three time to another vet in London and they could never really tell me what was wrong with him. I was sure Dr Patel would know right away so I took Eli to see him. Within days of the meds Eli was looking 100% better. I can not say enough about Dr Patel also including his lovely wife who is always there to greet you with a smile at the door. I find myself sometimes dropping in just to say hi as they have made me feel like family. Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown my cats and me. I am the proud owner of my little fur baby Bella. One day Bella had a skin infection I was so scared. I called my vet to have been seen my vet told me they were closing and told me they couldn't help me till tomorrow. As a last resort I searched for other vets when I came across Pond Mills Animal Hospital I called and explained my situation. Dr Patel was also about to close but they told me to come in anyways. Dr. Patel came in to see Bella. In the first 5 min I knew that Dr Patel was going to be Bella's doctor from now on. The outpour of love from Dr Patel is incredible , It doesn't just come from Dr Patel it comes from Laurie the assistant and Mrs. Patel. The time they took to make sure Bella was ok was amazing. They truly cared. They didn't rush me and answered all my questions. The next day I requested to transfer all my records to Pond Mills Animal Hospital. The same day something AMAZING happened. I got a call not from reception but from Dr Patel asking me how Bella was I was in tears that the Vet cared that much. In the following weeks I rescued a Dog Zeus again Dr Patel went ABOVE and BEYOND. I will never go to another vet again. There is not enough positive things I can say about Dr Patel and his staff members. If you are looking for a vet who cares... really truly cares this is the vet for you. I tell as many people as I can about Dr Patel and I feel thats still not enough. Thank You Dr Patel and Staff for all you have done for Bella and Zeus it means the world to my family and I. xoxox

I was fortunate enough several years ago, to be referred to this clinic through a co-worker. We had an emergency situation with our dog and Dr. Patel took us in at the last minute and stayed well past closing hours to thoroughly go over all of the issues, medications, tests and results that he performed. He took the absolute best care of her and us, including follow up calls to make sure she was doing ok. I moved to from Toronto to London a year and a half ago and my family has extended to include Jack, Eli, Angle and Lucy. Lucy was the last cat to come into our family and after a few days I knew something was not right with her. I came home one night and Angle had a very bad eye infection.
