Dr. Thomas at Western Animal Clinic is the best vet I've ever taken my pets to. She is so caring and ensures you are well informed so you can make the best decisions for your pets. Today, my cat needed to be seen right away and they were able to schedule me in hours after I made the call - amazing service! The price is more expensive than others in London because you're paying for such a high quality of care. I booked an appointment for my cat nearly a week in advance. Their office calls me last minute cancelling his appointment. No offers for any help for my cat in a timely manner. Gave me the option to wait another several days for him to be seen with 0 guarantee that they will keep his appointment. Do not recommend. Read Less

This clinic is absaloutely amazing. My cat was really sick and I was extremely tight on money.. Dr. MacDougall brought me in regardless and did everything she could to help out. We previously had a very bad experience with a local vet and were scared about trying a new one with our dog expecting puppies soon. The waiting room had cushioned benches, coffee, friendly staff and a great vet! Our dog was not stressed at all to be there. Our x ray pics were emailed to us right away. The vet spent so much time with us and answered every question we had (being nervous parents and all) Honestly I just chose them for their funny signs out front but loved the place once inside! Western Animal Clinic has cared for my pets for over 24 years. I am delighted with all of the staff. When a crisis happens they are always able to see my furry family quickly and begin the appropriate care and follow an ongoing treatment plan. When booking an apt for regular checkups, I have always been able to get an apt at a convenient time. The clinic hours are amazing and care is available 7 days a week. The doctors cover for each other so my pets have an accurate, accessable up to date profile at all times. I must say I have not shopped around looking at prices as I believe quality care, availability, and kindness is difficult to put a dollar value on. I have so many wonderful things to say about the staff at Western Animal Clinic! Everyone is always so polite and helpful in every way. Recently we had to bring our cat in to see the vet, but because he had to be monitored throughout the night, it was recommended that we take him to the emergency clinic instead. Though we had to say goodbye to him while at the emergency vet, the staff at Western Animal Clinic still sent us a truly heartfelt, handwritten card to pass on their condolences, assuring us that we did everything we could, and each doctor personally signed the card as well. Very nice place, excellent staff and vets, very kind and compassionate. The vet talked to me about all possible options and treatments, and the cost of each. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. One of the best vet experiences I've ever had. The treatments were at the higher end money wise, but not the most expensive in London. Read Less

Took my dog there for the first time today for treatment for his dermatitis. I was very impressed! Not only was the staff friendly and prompt, but the vet I saw was very helpful in recommending treatment alternatives I hadn't considered. She was even kind enough to print me out an estimate for the recommended future treatment options. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone I know.
