If your furry family member hates going to the veterinarian, odds are you dread taking them there. That's why we opened the Westmount Neighbourhood Pet Clinic in London. We wanted to create a pet health care facility that your furry family member actually wants to visit. If we could achieve that, we figured visits to the veterinarian would be easier on them and you. We established our Veterinary Clinic in December of 2008 in the beautiful Westmount area located in the forest city of London, Ontario. Together we have worked to create a home like environment inside a pet clinic setting making your trip to the vet as stress free and comfortable as possible for both you and your pet. We take pride in serving the public and their furry family members of the London and surrounding area by providing great health care for animals of all ages. We understand that pets or as we call them furry family members are just that part of the family and should be treated as such, so we're happy to help.

I’ve only been there twice with my family’s dog. I initially came to the clinic because our beagle had an eye infection in December of 2016 and our regular clinic was on the other side of the city and I don’t drive and can’t take her on bus. I called them in the morning and they gave me an appointment in the afternoon. Good with my dog and price and medication was reasonable. Was there again earlier this year for nail trim Again they were good with my dog. I’m writing this review now because our dog recently had her birthday and they mailed her a birthday card.

Honestly don't know what all of the hype is about. I will give the actual vet staff credit: They are very professional and prepared. Were clear with the information and addressed all of the questions we had about our puppy and future treatments. The front staff however? Abysmal. Trying to offer countless times that we sign up for a subscription package and shoving the idea so aggressively into our faces that I found myself having to be defensive of my position not to take it. Being that this experience starts the second I walk in and ends after I leave I think the rating is justified.

I recently moved to London and was completely overwhelmed by the number of choices that came up when I started searching for a vet near me. I was first attracted to the Neighbourhood Pet Clinic by their unique layout in the reception area, and the good things I was reading about them. I'm never sure how much online reviews can be trusted, but I have to say, so far I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. Everyone has been welcoming and lovely to deal with so far. There was a mix up with the records they received from my old clinic, but that was sorted out quickly. I also had some concerns about one of my cats when he wasn't himself after his rabies vaccine, and they took him in quickly for a follow up appointment at no extra cost. All checked out ok and I'm happy to say a couple days later he seems to be back to his usual self, but getting him checked out right away really helped to put my mind at ease. Dr Martin and Dr Alex were both lovely, happy to talk with me and answer any questions I had, and our visits were as stress free as can be!

Highly recommend this vet clinic - On the pricier side but you get your money’s worth with the attention and care that they provide. Our dog Chester went in for an aural hematoma surgery on Dec 12th and we showed up unannounced the next morning due to some complications with the wearing of the cone and they kept him the entire day, and took the time to go through 3 rounds of bandages and cones (without charging us) before they could get the problem relatively solved. With the surgery being on his ear the cone is 100% necessary to try and prevent the shaking and scratching at his head - but after witnessing for themselves the cone was collecting snow the tech took the time to trim and file down the sharp edges so Chester would eat/drink and actually attempt peeing without his head catching on too many things.
Cannot thank them enough for making this progress as easy as it can be for both my wallet and Chester - fingers crossed he continues to recover without too many checkups between now and next weeks official appointment.

The concept of the clinic is unique. It features a park like setting where you and your pet can wait. They even provide cute little yellow rubber ducks to mark where your pooch may have become too comfortable and thought they were outside. I didn't have a lot of luck in dealing with them. My dog is on medication and every time I called to get a refill on my prescription, they inevitably said they had to check with the vet and call me back. This never happened and I would always have to call back the next week and ask why I hadn't heard from someone. Same thing happened when I moved. I called to ask them to fax over my dog's records. Four days later when I arrived for my appointment, the paperwork still hadn't arrived. Apparently they are busy, as they have just expanded to a second location, but that's no excuse for the service I had experienced.

We will not take our pets anywhere else! We started off at the clinic on Wonderland Rd and have since moved from the west Side of London, to the east side. When we heard a 2nd location was opening we were thrilled! Amazing staff, the care they exhibit is unmatched. It's like they're taking care of there own pet! Great job and a big Kudos!

Our dog swallowed a bunched up sock in the weekend. The Emergency vet diagnosed the blockage but suggested we contact a regular vet to do the surgery to save money. I called Neighbourhood Pet Clinic at 8am and the lady that answered the phone went above & beyond to talk with a Vet and get the info emailed over from the emergency vet clinic. Our dog was in surgery that morning. The vet called me after the surgery to say things went well. Appreciate the great service.

I dealt with a number of different vets in a short time when our Lab-mix got sick. Both the vets and the office staff are friendly, customer-service oriented, and focus on making all patients and their family welcome.
They offer an array of services, and have quick follow up times. From the very first visit they show a genuine interest in your animal companion and ensuring they are living a happy and nurtured life.
One of my favourite things is that they will offer to drop off medication, food or pet supplies to your home free of charge!
I will always recommend them to anyone with an animal.

Exceptional vet clinic (North location). They go above and beyond. I changed to them after not really trusting what I was told by my previous vet. Here, they explain everything, take the time, and truly love your animal. They are professional and courteous and give exceptional customer service. Plus- much more reasonable rates. The groomer is fantastic as well, even with my wiggly puppy.

Both my dogs went in for grooming on Friday at the new North London Location and I couldn't be happier! From the quick response to my many questions via email before the appointment was even booked - to the patience and understanding of my big guy's fear of the bath. I have a 10 year old Pomeranian and a 3 year old Mastiff - and well, the old girl is use to grooming, my big guy is absolutely terrified and hates it! Thank you so much for everything Brent and Tanya!!! Looking forward to our next visit

Took my dog George to the North London location today and we couldn't have had better service anywhere else. We felt comfortable, as the staff were so friendly and helpful! Tanya did such a wonderful job on grooming George who gets nervous easily. We definitely recommend going there for all your pets needs!

I’ve only been there twice with my family’s dog. I initially came to the clinic because our beagle had an eye infection in December of 2016 and our regular clinic was on the other side of the city and I don’t drive and can’t take her on bus. I called them in the morning and they gave me an appointment in the afternoon. Good with my dog and price and medication was reasonable. Was there again earlier this year for nail trim Again they were good with my dog. I’m writing this review now because our dog recently had her birthday and they mailed her a birthday card.

Honestly don't know what all of the hype is about. I will give the actual vet staff credit: They are very professional and prepared. Were clear with the information and addressed all of the questions we had about our puppy and future treatments. The front staff however? Abysmal. I recently moved to London and was completely overwhelmed by the number of choices that came up when I started searching for a vet near me. I was first attracted to the Neighbourhood Pet Clinic by their unique layout in the reception area, and the good things I was reading about them. I'm never sure how much online reviews can be trusted, but I have to say, so far I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. Everyone has been welcoming and lovely to deal with so far. There was a mix up with the records they received from my old clinic, but that was sorted out quickly. I also had some concerns about one of my cats when he wasn't himself after his rabies vaccine, and they took him in quickly for a follow up appointment at no extra cost. All checked out ok and I'm happy to say a couple days later he seems to be back to his usual self, but getting him checked out right away really helped to put my mind at ease. Highly recommend this vet clinic - On the pricier side but you get your money’s worth with the attention and care that they provide. Our dog Chester went in for an aural hematoma surgery on Dec 12th and we showed up unannounced the next morning due to some complications with the wearing of the cone and they kept him the entire day, and took the time to go through 3 rounds of bandages and cones (without charging us) before they could get the problem relatively solved. Took my dog George to the North London location today and we couldn't have had better service anywhere else. We felt comfortable, as the staff were so friendly and helpful! Wonderful clinic! Everyone is so friendly, kind and compassionate. The atmosphere is relaxed and the place itself is lovely. We have always had amazing service from the vets. I highly recommend!
