This vet is very good. Dr. Parmar takes the time to fully check out my dog and walks me through everything, recommendations, procedures etc. He even took my call on Easter and whenever I have a dog problem they take me right away no questions asked. All the bad reviews on here are from people who couldn't pay their bill so they decide to leave a bad review, guess what people you have to pay for services rendered and when the dog has a health problem no it's not cheap. My daughter and I have 5 animals between us. They are part of our family and we dote on them. I've been to various veterinarians in London and after several negative experiences it was such a relief to find Whiteoaks Animal Hospital. There isn't anything that Dr.Parmar can't handle in terms of diagnostics, treatments and general well-being for our animals. He treats them with love and respect. He and his wonderful staff help to make my life much brighter because our cats and dog deserve to live their best lives just as we do. I had a horrible experience here, when first thing in the morning to treat my dog for a swollen face, the vet threatened to call the OSPCA on me (how embarrassing) because I didn't have the cash on hand to pay hundreds of dollars for my dogs treatment he recommended, he said I was allowing my dog to suffer in pain! I told him I needed to go to the bank first and come back, he asked me how much money I had and told me he would sell me the meds for what I had...he is out for money, clearly! Don't worry, I emailed the OSPCA myself! Never going back. Don't go there unless you can cough up the money all at once for your animals treatment on hand. The vet is so caring and gentle with our animals (2 dogs and a cat). The prices are not unreasonable - at least 20% less than our previous vet. I never have a problem getting the pets in for emergencies. Very courteous staff. Read Less

They were so kind when I came, very gentle with my new girl who is very avoidant of people, and walked me through everything, offered lots of great information and praise for the work I'd done, surprisingly great prices thus far I can't complain on that. I take my pug puppy Mocha here and they have been great to him! He has never had that fear of the vet. He loves going because when he does, he gets attention and pets and treats lol. He doesn't even notice when he gets a needle, except the first time but he was only 9 weeks old, all can be forgiven for that haha. Thank you for being so good to my little guy. We have been taking our cat Garfield to Dr. Parmar on and off now since the past couple of months and have been extremely satisfied with the care and treatment provided by him. I will never take an animal here again. My cat was attacked by a dog after realizing they were open and closest I took her here. It cost $340 for the vet to completely diagnose her wrong. They said they thought she had a collapsed lung and said we could take her home but recommended we take her to Adelaide animal hospital for oxygen possibly a chest tube abd to be watched overnight. That was Sunday. We took her to beaver creek and after calling Adelaide and not getting the X-ray because no one forwarded it ther did a new X-ray and ultra sound. It turned out she had a spleen that was completely torn in two, liver damage,a lacerated kidney, heart damage and an infection. She had major surgery the following day and is now stable thanks to the staff at beaver creek. I don't think this vet should even be practicing after that major mistake. It could have cost my daughters cat her life.Read Less

I took my cat, Trouble, to his vet earlier this month. The staff was very friendly with us. I called at 7am and the vet was so nice, he got us in right away. He was understanding and listened. He was very understanding about the cost of emergency vet visits. They called the next day to see how Trouble was feeling. Over all it was a nice experience. I feel like I should mention this to pet owners, if you have emergency vet costs that are too high and make you consider putting your pet down try PetCard first. They're a loan company that will loan you the money for the vet cost if you're approved. Read Less
