We're second generation clients of the Manotick Veterinary Hospital. We've been taking our pets to Dr. Young for eight years. All of the staff are great, caring and professional. They always call a day or two ahead to confirm appointments and send follow up emails if they can't get in touch. They also send annual reminders for booster shots and exams. The level of care is exceptional. Wouldn't take our pets anywhere else.

We cannot begin to say how amazed we have been with the clinic . We came in for a pre-dental cleaning exam . During the exam I was asked if there were any concerns with my dog I showed the veterinaria...
We cannot begin to say how amazed we have been with the clinic . We came in for a pre-dental cleaning exam . During the exam I was asked if there were any concerns with my dog I showed the veterinarian this funny looking lump that comes and goes and kinda of looks like a scar . She was quickly alarmed and knew exactly what it was . I had actually seen my old veterinarian 2 yrs ago about this and we were told it was likely a scar, not knowing we left it . Unfortunately this looking lump was a mast cell tumor!!! Our dog has now had surgery and is doing well . The staff at this clinic have been amazing ! Their expertise , knowledge , compassion, professionalism and smiles have made this process easier . We are truly grateful for this oustanding clinic so close by . Both our dogs are seen here and we have experienced the same care for both . We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at the Manotick Veternarian Clinic . We highly recommend this clinic .

We have been going to this clinic for 15 years because our pets have always received the best care we could ever imagine and because every member of the clinic team is knowledgeable, competent and compassionate towards us and our pets. Most recently our dog Luna had a large malignant tumour surgically removed and from the first appointment through to our post op follow-up, the care and service continues to be exceptional. The workup was fast, the cost of the surgery was far below estimates from other clinics in Ottawa and the treatment and support was absolutely exceptional. While the surgery was extensive it went smoothly and the recovery was uneventful because of the loving care provided and the expertise of every member of the clinic team. Thank you Dr. Young for giving Luna your support and surgical best. Thank you Dr. Matheson-Rakita for your unconditional love and interest in the very best for Luna. Truly the best clinic in Ottawa for us and our furry family.

I would highly recommend the Manotick Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for good vets. They have been there for us in good times and also through some of the worst. I do understand that they always recommend ALL of the potential care options to give your pet the best check up possible, but they have never made me feel bad when I decided to pursue less aggressive options and have always quickly offered alternatives when we were uncertain about their first recommendation. They were very supportive of us when we had to make the most difficult decision to put one of our cats down and even stayed late so that we could bring her in that night and not make her suffer longer than necessary. They also provided excellent care when our other cat needed round the clock care. I have always found their pricing to be reasonable or at least in line with the majority of the industry. I'm sure you can find cheaper care, but I doubt you could find cheaper care that compared to the level of service they have maintained. They have been wonderful over the past 5+ years and I will continue to use them.

This clinic and these Vets are the Used Car Sales man of the veterinarian industry and I apologize to the honest used car salesmen. If you are not buying the best food for your dog or cat or if you don't have every procedure under the sun done when you come in e.g. blood work "just to make sure", teeth cleaning etc. they make you feel like you are an inhumane person towards your pet. Veterinarian's are a dime a dozen and they will all take your money, shop around is all I can say.

As I'm crying writing this, the staff and Dr. Casey showed much love and compassion and kindness. Dr. Casey, went out of her way to make sure things went as peaceful as possible for us. I was a mess and she showed such compassion and kindness, and understood the bond I had with Angel. Thank you for the condolence card and the special touch to her Urn. My family and dogs love Dr. Young, she's been with us for years and we will never trust anyone else with our dogs. Staffs are nice and very caring. A million thanks guys.....

Have been going there since 1990 - (24 years). Our experience is: everyone is great. Good Vets and knowledgeable, friendly & very helpful staff. You guys get 5 stars.

My cats have been seen by all of the vets here over the past 12 years and they are wonderful! Dr. Young is our family's vet. The cats love her...so do we :D Pam, Caitlin and Robin have all been great ...

I don't live near the clinic, but it was recommended by a friend and I've been going there for years. They're great for regular check ups, but they have proven their worth in the more difficult visits...
