Front desk staff in the evening are as rude as ever ...receptionist with the heavy accent reprimanded me when I called to let them know we were running late and asked me why I didn’t leave earlier...really??? Worst customer service ever ! Absolutely no compassion. I was trying to book an appointment to put my cat down and that was hard enough for me to do. They could not schedule anything (they say for at least 3 weeks!) nor they wanted my business it seems as they redirected me to go to another place. It was the closest vet to my house and I wanted to avoid unnecessary stress for my pet by going on a long car ride as he is suffering right now. Awful experience. I will NEVER use this place again. I had used other vets before when I lived downtown and had to put down another cat. They were absolutely wonderful and understanding. Nothing like this place. I had a very good experience at Maple Veterinary Clinic. Sav was very knowledgeable and thorough with his examination. Both Fiona and Sav had patience with my extremely stubborn 80 pound black lab :). The medications and treatments were a quarter of the prices of other vets I have been to. Overall the staff are great people who love what they do and care about their patients . Read Less

Dr. Schembri and Fiona are amazing! The care they take and work they do is unbelievable! Everything from our medical issues with diabetes to his dental work. Very unprofessional vet, the owner is such a money grubbing cheap ass. Very rude and insensitive. My dog was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. The way he first broke the news was very cold, he flat out said "she will be dead in the next few weeks". Not taking the time to explain the next step to take with chemo etc. He wanted me to kno that "most dogs die" from this type of cancer. Im glad i didnt thro my hands up and gave up all hope and let my dog die. i got an oncologist who knew what he was talking about and had enough humanity in him to keep our spirits up and stay positive. This clinic is filled with callous incompetent terds. Dont wait your time or money here. Read Less

Dr. Schembri and the staff at Maple Veterinary Clinic are truly passionate and caring. It takes a special person to be kind, and patient but most importantly understanding. Dr. Schembri is all of that and so much more. His thorough exams, detailed explanations and dedication to my pets is so heartwarming to watch. This place is horrible. They told me to not bring my dog back because " he is to big ". I live in the area and it's difficult for me to travel to other location due to working a lot. The staff are disgusting and should consider another feild to work, in since they hate animals. Don't bring your pet to this savage place. Read Less

When I got my puppy I took her to this clinic.  The vet there was very nice and informative ( that Dr has since left).  When it came to my dog's surgery I found the price really high.  As were the other visits .  I decided to shop around and found for the spaying procedure and that Maple Vet. Clinic was the highest.I thought I would call and let them know to give them the opportunity as I felt I did not want to pay an extra 200.00 above the other quotes I rec'd from other professional vet clinics and hospitals in the area.  My dog was used to this clinic and it was close to me.  I would rather not have switched clinics if I had to, but the extra money was too high to ignore.They said no, the fee is the fee . I told them they may loose a customer. They said it was my decision, so I did.  I transferred my file to the other animal hospital and have been there for the last yr and love it.Since then I got another dog, so both my dogs now go to Avro pet hospital.The prices I found really high at Maple Veterinary clinic and that is why I give it  3 stars.
