Dr. Kim is a caring compassionate veterinarian. His prices are very good. He does what’s necessary and does not do unnecessary procedures.;He cared for my last dog right up to the time we had to put him down. He handled that even more than I had hoped. I highly recommend him and certainly will be using his services when I get my rescue dog.

We have 2 toy dogs and was recommended by our groomer. Our senior dog was experiencing diarrhea and lost so much weight which concerned us. Our previous vet scared us by mentioning cancer and other diseases while stacking tests with meds and our bills were always a shock to us.
Our recent experience with Dr. Kim was the most positive compared to other animal hospitals. Dr. Kim is a compassionate and knowledgable veterinarian. He remained calm and gave us options that were reasonable without putting our sick dog under unnecessary strain. He spent over an hour on multiple visits and his patience, keen intuition and skills have restored our 13 year old poodle back to health. Usually our dogs are stressed after vet visits often panting and whining, But they were comfortable here ( the staff handled our dogs with care and professionalism). When our dog went for an IV, Dr Kim allowed us to join him in the back and see the procedure. He walked us through xrays and copied us on test results. Given this detail and time spent, his fees are very reasonable. He is also perfectly fluent in both English and Korean (a bonus for my parents). We are grateful. Thank you Dr. Kim.

This is my experience at Dr. Kim Pet Hospital.
My dog's back left leg was limping and I thought x-rays were
needed but Dr. Kim said it's better not to aggravated more .
After the medical check up , he suggested to treat with medicine
first. I was very skeptical that moment, but I decided to follow
his instructions. Long story short, 10 days of medicine treatment
my dog finally got better and x-rays or surgery was not required.
My dog no longer was limping . I was very happy about the results .
I am thankful for his help and highly recommended him.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kim. A couple years ago, my cat was diagnosed as diabetic and I thought it was a death sentence. But Dr. Kim taught me how to test at home and my cat is THRIVING and living without insulin now. If you think vets are trying to get you to spend the most money possible, Dr. Kim isn't. He understood how scary it was for me and offered alternatives, and now my cat is healthy and perfect.
My dog recently had surgery to have four small tumours removed and his team was so gentle with my nervous dog. I trust them implicitly. Their prices are fair, they have the animal's well-being at heart, and they will work with you to give your pet the best care possible within your budget. They are non-judgemental. I highly recommend this animal care team. They are a breath of fresh air and I now travel to see them as I've moved away.

i have been coming here since 2014. i have to say Dr.Kim is the best doctor ever. My cat was injured on news years day...knowing that his office was most likely closed, i gave it a shot and called him...

My cat was injured on news years day...knowing that his office was most likely closed, i gave it a shot and called him to see if he would pick up..and he did and even asked me to bring my cat in immediately. He checked up my cat and gave him a cone With some meds. I got to say i owe Dr Kim a big one! He is attentive and caring..his staff members are also very nice and welcoming! therefore i highly recommend Dr.Kim to anyone looking for a vet!

Best prices in town (at least for what we went in for). He does not try to upsell and seems to genuinely care about animals. For example, my cat's nose was a bit pink from him always trying to nudge doors and cabinets open, and he said some ointment will help. I thought that was very nice of him to care about such a little thing. I wish I lived in the area because I would love to have him as our vet, but we're moving to the United States. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Finally, we met a Vet in our dream. We went through countless clinics for last 35 years and none even come close to this one. This Doc is sincere, caring, respectful, and honest. My 10 years old Cocker Spaniel with many health issues is doing just dandy after seeing Dr.Kim. You won't spend money on extra stuff with this guy as the Doc focuses on immediate issues and solutions. He is trustworthy and he is good. Try him, you won't regret.

Dr. Kim was wonderful to work with. I brought my cat to him for a consultation after reading positive reviews when two other vets in Scarborough and Markham ordered unnecessary tests and recommended >$1000 surgery for a broken nail. Dr. Kim provided alternative medication and advised that the surgery wasn't necessary. 4 weeks later my cat is back to perfect health

He does what’s necessary and does not do unnecessary procedures.;He cared for my last dog right up to the time we had to put him down. He handled that even more than I had hoped.
