I was referred to this clinic by a reputable clinic in London. I called Komoka a few times to have a few questions answered by the veterinarian for my special needs baby, but they either never called back or the answer was completely irrelevant to my question. Despite the hesitation and poor first impression, I decided to give them a chance anyways. Upon arriving the clinic, they were not very welcoming. A technician had walked by us but didn't even bother to greet us (She was just organizing the files on the shelf anyways) and neither did the reception; they were friendly once you began speaking with them though. When it was time for my appointment, the veterinarian did not bother to introduce himself to me and looked at my pet like, "Oh, okay it's you." His examination was not up to my expectations: Only checked his weight, body and teeth in the exam room nor did he even ask about my concerns. He would cut me off as I had questions, and was seemingly in a rush to get through the appointment. A technician explained there was an emergency, but my previous vet still examined my pets in a timely manner with multiple emergencies, so it is hard for me to accept their reason. Apparently the veterinarian is quite an abrupt person; unfortunately, I do not work well with that. I had to stop him midway leaving the room with my pet to ask him two remaining questions I had. He honestly seemed like he didn't care and just wanted to get this over with... Poor service if you ask me. Upon receiving my pet from his glucose examination, I was wondering why it took so long; my previous vet took 5 minutes or less. When my baby came back to me, he had 3 dabs on his ears, bloody. In fact, he has a inch cut on his little ear. After discussing with them why they did this, they explained to me they had a little difficulty drawing blood and used a method that I was not aware of; I wished they had addressed to me first about this instead of handing my baby to me without an explanation first. He continues to have 2 swollen ears, a day later. My baby was very hesitant and nervous to even come out of his carrier in the appointment room, something he had never done in the past vet visits he's had. Even when the veterinarian tried to get his heartbeat, he was frantically trying to run to me. I was reached by the staff the following day to discuss matters. Despite their reasoning, our views were too contrasting on how and when treatments should take place and lack of communication; therefore, it was best that I chose to not return. I appreciate your efforts of coming forward to explain your situation and finding a mutual peaceful conclusion.Read Less
