The staff are good but the Vet is on an ego trip, talking too much about how much he knows. As well, his English is difficult to understand. He did not help our pet, let her suffer...we took her to another Vet who told us we Immediately needed to put her down. This Vet wanted to run tests and give us false hope. No trust for him. Absolutely amazing! My poor Stevie (7 year old Beagle) had a huge cyst on her leg and Dr. Lotey not only removed it and was extremely reasonable with the cost, and he looked after her everyday for a month after her surgery! Every day we brought her in and he changed her band aids and gave us advice and made sure she was healing, my husband and I highly recommend this place. They are also reasonable when it comes to nail trims, check ups, shots and anything else you could think of. Dr. Lotey and his team are truly amazing and you can tell they love what they do. I've been going to Derry Heights since 2010 with my 2 cats and dog and can honestly say I have zero complaints. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I just started taking my dog here after moving to Milton. The receptionists are extremely polite and they call you the next day even after regular shots to see how your pet is doing. The vet is knowledgeable and doesn't seem to try and upsell everything as I've noticed with some in the past. We've had no problem getting appointments either and they have very flexible hours. I had heard a lot of good things about this place so I decided to call and give it a try simply based on the fact that my usual vet was closed and my cat had to be checked ASAP as I think he developed a uti(which had been reoccurring). I called the vet and the receptionist was pretty rude. She straight up told me they don't have the time to look at my cat once I told them he had a uti. I insisted for them to just check at least to see if he's okay as A UTI can be dangerous for male cats and she asked the vet and came back and said "nope sorry we can't". I hung up and realized that this vet probably isn't where I'd want my cat to go when they don't even care about your animals health. Always a great time when going to Derry heights! I've been taking my tree year old German shepherd there for three years now, she has had many problems over the years and Dr. Lotey has fix every problem we have had with her! Now I take my one year old puppy there and my two ten year old cats. When I first got my three year old German shepherd I was new to having a puppy and I thought everything she did need to be questioned. I would call Dr. Lotry almost everyday if not everyday and him and his staff would always answer my question and take me in on very short notice! From day one he has made me feel like family and most importantly he thinks of my pets as family. Best bet by far! Read Less

Excellent vet....I called last minute to get an appointment for a dog I was dog sitting that was ill and they squeezed me in that night and provided me with everything I needed on the spot. Dr. Manjit Lotey personally called me the next evening to check in on how things were and whether or not there was improvement. needed to take my dog in for occasional vomiting that had gone on for a few days. They were able to see us on short notice and even though they had appointments already in place were able to squeeze my dog in. We actually walked out of there without a ton of tests and other things we didn't need. It was simple and straight forward and my dog loves them. He is 100 % now and up to his usual shenanigans. My husband & I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Lotey & his precious staff. We've been treating our little Pug, Lola, for several months through multiple health issues. It's frustrating, sad, and scary- but they don't waver! We know they are pouring love & knowledge into our girl and working every angle possible to get her well again. Calls & emails are answered promptly and Dr. Lotey & staff even call periodically to check on us.
