Update: Today I receieved a heartfelt apology from Hollybank acknowledging and owning the situation. There was no excuses or reasons given... just a heartfelt apology. I think it takes a big person and/or business to stand up and own it when things go wrong. Thank you for the offer of condolence and renewing my faith in you. ========================================== Sadly I was a huge fan of Hollybank, recommending them to family and friends but more importantly trusted them with our baby. Unfortunately our precious pup became sick, we had him rushed to the emergency clinic in Oakville. An extremely hard decision was made to put him down. Throughout the ordeal I was consulting the Hollybank doctors as they were my trusted advisors so they were aware of the scenario and the severity of it. No one from the clinic made an offer of condolences (or even a call to follow up for an update on his condition). He was nearly 14 years old and was a patient of the clinics since we moved to Milton (10+ years ago). Unfortunately they didn’t think it was important to follow up with us, the family. Last year I brought my bunny to Hollybank and they were so great with her she was very helpful and supportive when it came time to say goodbye to my loved one! Just recently got two more and wouldn't bring them anywhere else!! They do an amazing job! So very friendly. Read Less

I can’t say enough great things about Dr Rosely and her staff at Hollybank Animal Hospital! Time and time again they have demonstrated their dedication in ensuring the best care for miniature schnauzer. Whether its consulting with pet food companies on the best diet for her changing conditions, spending an hour with poise control the day she ingested voltaren, personally delivering medication to our house when we forgot it, and showing her love when she had to spend her days there to be observed. I took our new pup, Chewy, to this vet few days ago to introduce him and do the initial health check. The staff were very kind and friendly. The doctor was very thorough in her examination and spent way more than enough time to explain the pup on-boarding process. While I've read about how scary the first visit to the vet could be, Chewy was very comfortable and spent his time playing around. He even left his mark at the examination room floor :) One of the nice welcoming gestures I've noticed was the writing on the white board when we arrived. Thank you and I highly recommend this vet. I have always felt very comfortable with the staff at Hollybank and their sister vet. I actually followed Dr. Sandi from one place to another because I didn't want to change doctors. I was in Mississauga before and was ecstatic that they opened up another practice in Milton. They treat my dog very well, their assessments were very thorough and they are willing to answer any questions I have. They take into account my opinions which makes me feel better because I am able to be involved in my dog's care.Read Less

I took my pet there for a planned operation and was given a quote of the total cost and was told to be there by 8 am on that very foggy day . Made it there on time however someone else called in while I was there and was booked ahead of me although I booked several weeks in advance and as such my pet's operation did not start till 9:30 am instead , why say to be there for 8 and not start operation for another hour and half ? I know it takes some time to prep for such operation but I highly doubt it takes that long to prep .My pet was not ready for pick up at the planned time as I informed them earlier I had to pick it up before picking up our kids from school and therefore the pet was rushed to be discharged just to get paid . I was given a much higher bill than what I was quoted and I did bring that to their attention and it just fell on deaf ears . Very sad to see such firm not follow up with their own promises . This is why I do not go to Hollybank Animal Hospital anymore and I would not recommend them . Read Less

Extremely please with Dr. LaPointe and the staff at Hollybank Animal Hospital. Very kind, loving, friendly and informative. They do advise you, but do not push or oversell. Everyone there remembers your pets name(s) and specifics traits about them. Definitely the best Vet experiences I have ever had! Read Less

I have used other vet services in the past but since moving to Milton I go to Hollybank for all of my dogs needs. The Doctors and staff there are very compassionate and caring. They treat my puppy as if it were there own. From the staff who greet you at the front door to the Medical staff I don't think I could ask for better. You always feel welcome there. I don't think I could ever take my puppy anywhere else even if I move out of the area i'm sure I would make the commute.
