We recently made the difficult decision to euthanize our epileptic puppy as his seizures were not getting better, even with high doses of medication and naturopathic remedies being used. Aquitaine Animal Hospital was the only vet available to do this service for us (we called a dozen before them), and we'd used them before, including for this dog in December (when he had my husband help hold him down for xrays, they're not allowed to expose people to radiation we've since learned). We walked in with our dog who continued having seizures in the office. Dr. Aziz wouldn't do anything without a signed quote - which I totally understand for the average pet owner. We are not the average pet owner, we've spent thousands of dollars this year trying to help our dog, we were not worried how much euthanizing him was going to cost. Six or so seizures later, he gives him an intramuscular sedative (which we told him wasn't going to work - this dog was on high doses of medication and heavy doses of diazepam that didn't do what they were supposed to) and left us there for 20ish minutes. When he finally decided that he needed a "heavy narcotic", our dog was sleeping in seconds. While talking to my teenage son in the waiting area after the dog was euthanized, I mentioned the bloodwork that the dog had the day before and how much we'd spent in the two days. Dr. Aziz's response was "I didn't charge you for the propofol". Looking at the bill, he charged us an exam fee of $80, for what exactly? Walking through the door, because it certainly wasn't for examining our seizing dog. The icing on the cake was having my husband help put him in the transport bag. Yesterday we got a sympathy card in the mail and they couldn't even be bothered to look up our dog's name. Today I went in to pick up our dog's memorial paw print, and the receptionist placed a dose of flea medication on the counter without asking what I was there for and all I could do was look at her until she asked "is that not what you're here for?". Please, find a vet that has some empathy. I do not wish this experience on anyone.

Dr. Aziz is a wonderful vet l came in for a second opinion on my cat who has crystals he went out of his way and gave me his time and expertise on how to handle the situation after our meeting l switched my files from the other vet to Dr Aziz he's my new vet I'm very happy with the outcome the cat is on the mend. Dr. Alaa treats my pug as his own, always providing invaluable advice and pointers on how to keep Auggie healthy and safe.
Auggie has a tendency to eat stuff he's not supposed to!!!
Other clinics might ask for "extra tests" if you have insurance, Dr. Alaa assessment and expertise has saved me on hefty bills.

I would like to recommend this hospital for there loved one . Dr Aziz and his staff are amazing people to deal with and always helping when you need the help .he went above and beyond with my cat (tigger) he’s been going there since he was born . No one understands my tigger like Dr Aziz . He’s so helpful even when I don’t need him to check my tigger always giving me helpful information . Thank you Dr Aziz and your wonderful staff . 💕🥰

My 9 week old puppy was about to die due to blockage and no other vets took the time to care for him. The night we brought my dog in Dr. Aziz did the surgery and finished at 2am. He also provided us with a good price and took very well care of him. He performed 2 major surgeries and saved my dogs life. He is very dedicated. I definitely recommend going to this vet!

Too many vets are so nice to you and your pet while they have their hand on your wallet. Dr. Aziz is by far the BEST and straight forward giving 6 of my pets the best treatment over the years. I cannot recommend anyone higher.

I am very Happy with the service I got at this vet. When my cat was sick I didn't know who to go to. After a few phone calls I ended on the phone with one of the staff at Aquitaine, she was very friendly and took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. I ended up setting up an appointment for my cat, it didn't take long to get a diagnoses and proper care. Thanks again to the great staff over there!

I have read all the reviews on alot of sites and some are hard to believe. Dr.Aziz has been recommended to me by two different individuals and I'm very happy and feel comfortable bringing my dog in to see him. Some of these reviews are all about money. I have been to 2 other vets with my dog over almost 8years of her life and an emergency clinic which a visit cost almost 200$ to only see my dog and get an injection because she was bit by A bee which cost another 200$. One vet way too expensive for a visit it was about $110 and the other one I would never trust to leave my dog there in a million years even though the prices where lower $50.
Everyone has to remember when you get an animal be prepare to pay the bills; they are very expensive that's why there is something called pet insurance; which is very expensive as well (monthly charge) If you can not afford the cost of a vet do not get a Pet!
My dog of almost 9years in June just had a major surgery on February 1st 2017 with Dr.Aziz. I was terribly scared for her; she has never had a surgery in her life and now she is almost 9years old. I knew there was a high risk as Dr.Aziz explained to me. He was very patient with me and went through all the things which I have asked him.
She was spayed (ovaries and uterus) taken out and a lump on her left back leg was removed as well. I spent the whole day beside my phone waiting for Dr.Aziz to call me. He told me if I don't call everything is going well. I picked up my dog around 630pm just when she was in recovery. I was extremely happy when I saw my dog that I started crying. (She is my best friend and my baby :) )
Today is Feb 5th 2017 and Dr.Aziz called me 3 times to check up on my dog. She is healing well and started to walk the next day of her surgery!
I would recommend this vet to anyone!

Relieving Experience to know both my fur babies were in excellent hands. They were misdiagnosed with fleas and wasted money for months until i was referred to Dr. Aziz who is nothing short of spectacular. He was thorough, attentive and i was confidant in his diagnoses. Both my fur babies Mateo & Sebastian are still undergoing treatment but i am confidant in his instructions. BTW drove from Toronto to see him even though i have dozens of options nearby... worth the drive.

I have used this veterinary clinic for my black lab mix for regular check ups/needles/neutering. Also had two emergency situations handled by Dr Aziz. Both times he stayed after hours to patiently treat my dog and to explain procedures/prescriptions. He is always very patient and caring with my dog's treatments. I would highly recommend this clinic.

We recently made the difficult decision to euthanize our epileptic puppy as his seizures were not getting better, even with high doses of medication and naturopathic remedies being used. Too many vets are so nice to you and your pet while they have their hand on your wallet. Dr. Aziz is by far the BEST and straight forward giving 6 of my pets the best treatment over the years. I cannot recommend anyone higher.

I am very Happy with the service I got at this vet. When my cat was sick I didn't know who to go to. After a few phone calls I ended on the phone with one of the staff at Aquitaine, she was very friendly and took the time to talk to me and answer my questions.
