At Southdown Animal Clinic we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of health care for companion animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, exotics and birds. Our experienced veterinarians and staff foster a compassionate and caring environment that emphasizes preventative medicine and client education. We offer a wide variety of advanced medical, diagnostic and surgical services that included examinations, vaccinations, x-rays, ultrasound, dental care, nutrition counseling, geriatric care and surgery (spay, neuter, orthopedics, eyes, upper airway...) New patients are always welcome.

The clinic is super! We took our hamster in for a visit the vet and whole team were friendly and really professional, they took their time answering questions and were very helpful and caring. They know how to set a positive tone in what can be a rather stressful time for me as well as my little rodent. The dr asked if my son wanted to hear his hamsters heart beat too. They made us feel right at home. Great clinic Great team!

This has been my family vet for over 25 years and would never consider another. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel like family when there. They give only the best care for your fur babies.

I honestly wish I could give this Clinic more than five stars! Thie staff that work here are all compassionate and have a passion for their job, they are truly amazing. You can tell from the moment you first arrive that your animal and you are in the right place. You can tell that these people really do care about the animals that come through their door and it's not just a job for them. Which I feel like nowadays that's really hard to come by. Even with difficult situations they are very supportive and you can tell how much they care. I haven't been more pleased in a business. Thank you for all the Care you gave my cat Mary jane and I.

They’ve cared for my rabbit and handled him very well in a time most needed. My actual vet didnt even accept my baby but these guys welcomed him with open arms. I bugged them a bit over the phone with questions and never once changing their tone and attitude theyve been so kind and helpful with everything.

Extremely overpriced. I called years back to ask how much it costs to neuter a rabbit and they told me $500-$600. I went to another vet and paid $200. Now I called to see how much it is to help my ham...
Extremely overpriced. I called years back to ask how much it costs to neuter a rabbit and they told me $500-$600. I went to another vet and paid $200. Now I called to see how much it is to help my hamster with an impacted pouch and they said $215 and he would have to be sedated. I went to another vet and paid $125 with no sedation and it took a couple minutes. I'm not sure on their care of animals. But the other vets I went to treated my pets amazing and had lots of knowledge.

Amazing! Brought my sick Guinea pig in. Not a lot of vets in the area who really know what their doing with guinea pigs. Found this clinic and visited Dr.Wallace. Highly recommend!!!!

I am really happy with the service by Dr. Pocha and the girls at the front desk. They are so nice and friendly ALL the time. Dr.Pocha is excellent with the medical treatment of my little pup Indy. If i call with a worry or a question, she will answer it and then follow up 2 days later with me to make sure everything is good. When she has to give a needle to Indy, he doesn't even know it happened. Even Gabriella gave a needle today and Indy didn't even feel it. Thats impressive. Thank you !

Great service today... was greeted by two friendly dogs when I walked in the door! I went in looking for food for my dog Hank, and they didn't carry what he's currently on. She suggested that Clarkson Village Animal Hospital might have what I'm looking for, and she took the time to call them, and ask if they had it in stock. They did, so she gave me directions down the road to Clarkson Village Hospital.
Great to see a company putting a customer's needs first and sending them to a different business.
Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet!

Southdown Animal Clinic is the best clinic I have ever been to. I absolutely LOVE the staff and due to my little Willow (2.5 year old Netherland Dwarf rabbit) needing regular dentistry and medications, I have gotten to know the staff VERY well haha! They are the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding group of people I have ever met. During our time as a patient at this clinic we also suffered the loss of Willow's beautiful sister Shiloh. I must say, Dr. Warren, Dr. Wallace, Dr. Pocha, Dr. Letik, Nancy, Sammi and everyone else there couldn't have been more comforting or supportive during that time. It feels like a family there and Willow and I are so greatful to be part of it! We love you guys!

I highly recommend Southdown Animal Clinic! The Drs. and the staff are the best. They are living, caring, and you are a part of their family. They are there for you each and every step of any situation you may have. I have been going there for 15 years and they all are my family. They truly love and care for your pets and see things that sometimes we don't see and give it to you straight. They are the best of the best. Bella and I love you all!

The clinic is super! We took our hamster in for a visit the vet and whole team were friendly and really professional, they took their time answering questions and were very helpful and caring. They know how to set a positive tone in what can be a rather stressful time for me as well as my little rodent. The dr asked if my son wanted to hear his hamsters heart beat too. They made us feel right at home. Great clinic Great team!

I honestly wish I could give this Clinic more than five stars! Thie staff that work here are all compassionate and have a passion for their job, they are truly amazing. You can tell from the moment you first arrive that your animal and you are in the right place. You can tell that these people really do care about the animals that come through their door and it's not just a job for them. Which I feel like nowadays that's really hard to come by. Great service today... was greeted by two friendly dogs when I walked in the door! I went in looking for food for my dog Hank, and they didn't carry what he's currently on. She suggested that Clarkson Village Animal Hospital might have what I'm looking for, and she took the time to call them, and ask if they had it in stock.
