When I brought my kitty in for his checkup & shots, I really loved bringing him in to a place with such a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff! You can really tell that they care a lot about minimizing any stress your pet might feel in coming to the vet, and they gave my little guy lots of little treats to keep him calm and happy while he was there. :)

Our cat's health had taken a turn for the worse and had to be euthanized immediately. We contacted numerous veterinarians, none of which were interested in my dilemma. I decided to go directly to the Fisher Glen hospital unannounced. They understood my dilemma immediately and took care of our cat. This will definitely be our got o hospital for our other cat. We adopted two kittens through OSCATR and Fisher Glen is the animal hospital associated with the rescue. Luckily - they have been amazing since Day 1! Everyone at this vet is super kind and helpful and lovely. When our little baby girl had her spay, they even called to check in the next day and make sure everything was going well.

Dr Baar and Dr Gates are both excellent veterinarians. They are understanding and no pressure Docs, they are a perfect blend of concern and care for your pet while understanding the cost of doing tests that could maybe be avoided. I never feel like a neglectful Momma as I have with other vets in the past just for taking a cost effective approach to a problem.
The assistant staff are all amazing, friendly and welcoming as well. They make my dog feel excited to enter the facility and they are always well stocked with Benny Bullies Liver (and he knows it)
They do nail trimming quickly and with no stress when you come for an appointment.
You can tell they entire staff genuinely care for your pets, you and their work.
No one is stressed when going to this vet clinic!

I take all of my pets to Fisher Glen Animal Hospital. The main reason I do is because going there is like going to visit family. All the staff know me when I call. They know my pets and their medical history immediately. I never feel pressured to agree to a course of treatment. Where there are options, they always give them to me. They are very careful to fully inform me of how much a treatment would cost. In the case of one of my dogs, both of his knees had to be replaced. I was very aware of the price of this type of surgery. Fisher Glen quoted a very reasonable price. They always call the next day after a treatment to see how the animal is doing. I feel my pets are being looked after on a very personal level. And somehow, they successfully clip my dog's nails, a death defying feat accomplished by only the best. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone with a pet.

My friend and I were looking for a vet when she got a new puppy, and we chose Fisher Glen due to the proximity. The visit was unremarkable either way. Shots, exam, the normal stuff. When my own dog became ill, I reached out to them for advice on her upset tummy. As I was recently disabled and was on a fixed income, I asked them for suggestions about treatment affordability. Alison the receptionist callously suggested I surrender my dog to the Humane Society if I was unable to afford veterinary care. Am shocked and disgusted at the response. Would never ever trust my pet to such a callous and uncaring animal hospital.

The staff is very nice and with only two vets on staff you get a personable experience. The vets are very informative and don't try to up sell unnecessary things . You get the feeling that they honestly care for the well being of your pet. Overall very happy with their service
