The most caring and compassionate group of people. I have been taking my fur baby’s to see doctor Lima for years, as my animals really take to him. He gets right down on their level and spends good part of the visit loving on them. Doctor Lima is an encyclopedia of information, and loves to explain what is going on with your animal in great depth. He takes the time that is necessary to conduct a thorough evaluation of your pet. Last but not least he is not pushy when it comes to medication and vaccines, he tells you what he subjects in his professional opinion and gives you the time you need to research and decide on your own. I have had not great experiences with other vets in the past so I can truly say from experience this practice is a gem. Thanks guys for all the help over the years. Sadly, no longer able to recommend them. They have been our exclusive vet (specialists not withstanding) for the last 7.5 years but our last 3 interactions (March, April and today) have been less than stellar. I'm not sure what's changed (ownership? management?) but on our March visit a marked change was noticed. Disorganized reception, extremely busy waiting room, vet running behind schedule, inaccurate info on invoice. All things that had never happened before and to say we were frequent visitors would be a bit of an understatement. Also, lots of new staff. Same thing happened at our April visit. A simple blood test turned into a 45 minute affair (and no, it isn't because we had to wait for results, they called us with those later). Today, we used their online system to make an appointment - we thought it said today but turns out it was 2 weeks from now. Fair enough, likely our screw-up. But, while I was there I did try to make an appointment for our very uncomfortable dog. The "absolute best" they could do was give him an appointment for 2 weeks from today. We've never had to wait more than a few days to see a vet there before. At that point informed the receptionist that if that was the absolute best they could do, we would need to take our dog somewhere else. Read Less

Absolutely fabulous! Dr. Bacon is by far the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian anywhere. He listens to your concerns and cares about your dog's well-being. Dr. Lima is also following those same practice principles as he takes over the reigns. This clinic cares for animals first and is not trying to pad your bill. They have plenty of people waiting to see them so business is not the issue. This clinic wants to build a rapport with you and care for your animal family like it's their own!! We had our beloved Bouvier put to rest at this clinic and Dr. Lima and staff were so compassionate and understanding. They made the unbearable experience better for me. We recently had one of our kittens spayed and the vet tech was very informative and there was even a follow-up call a few days after the surgery to check on how she was feeling. Customer service seems to be an option not a standard these days for most organizations, but our furry family member is getting old and understandably I had a number of questions about finding a clinic that would look after the old guy and Chris showed such compassion and patience with my millions of questions.
