Before he took over the clinic we were very happy with the Vet before and she was very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves animals and knows what she is doing
BUT THIS GUYS HAHAHA IS A JOKE
not only unprofessional, does not know how to react to animal behavior and does not know what he is talking about
claims we MUST do blood work before he can give us HEART GUARD never heard that anywhere before
Tired to take sample of blood from my dog and missed 3 times ... poked my dog with a needle 3 times before he got it right
AND OF COURSE MY DOG WAS SCARED AND IRRITATED .... why wouldnt he be ? - then my dog gets defensive and THIS DOCTOR GOT SCARED !!! hahah EXCUSE ME? could not control the room and just completely CLUELESS

I made an appointment with this clinic as a friend referred me. I go there and it's a very tiny reception area. I give her my insurance papers and I start filling out some paperwork they gave me. She ...
I made an appointment with this clinic as a friend referred me. I go there and it's a very tiny reception area. I give her my insurance papers and I start filling out some paperwork they gave me. She then informs me that they aren't computerized and can't give me an itemized bill that day. It would be available several days later. Unacceptable to me, I took my papers and left. Who isn't computerized these days?!

I have used Bowhill Animal Clinic for as long as I have owned pets. They have been my sole vet for my cats and now my lovely senior dog. They are kind, compassionate and caring. Anya has amazing experience with her own brood of dogs, and has seen it all. Never a test is ordered that you don't need, and when they need to refer up to a larger clinic with more diagnostic opportunities or experience, they do, without a thought. I have always appreciated the wonderful service I receive from this clinic, and highly recommend.

I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. I took my cat here to be spayed. the stitches were really bad and the doctor were not helpful in any shape or form. if you don't want to see your pet in pain ...
I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. I took my cat here to be spayed. the stitches were really bad and the doctor were not helpful in any shape or form. if you don't want to see your pet in pain and misery, don't choose this place.

Worst vet clinic in the city. I am a long term customer who travels 45 minutes just to go there. I drove down to get a refill on the prescription THEY had prescribed to me the last time I was there for my cats. Because they did not keep adequate records of medication THEY prescribed and the weekend vet was in instead of my regular vet, they REFUSED to refill the medication. We wasted 45 min getting there...30mins arguing with them and an hour driving home in traffic. Ridiculous... taking my business elsewhere.

I will not be returning here. After 12 years of using this clinic I brought my dog in on a Saturday 15 minutes before closing time without an appointment. I asked if the vet would take a quick look at his eye infection. The receptionist replied that appointments were finished for the day and the doctor was on the phone.
I said I would wait, that I was a customer for 12 years and this was the first time I had requested anything unusual. I had to make it clear to her that I expected her to go and ask the doctor to see him very briefly. She reluctantly did so. To my surprise and disgust she returned and advised me that the doctor would not see him today. I told her she could advise the doctor they had just lost a long term customer. Not much caring at this clinic.

My cat had been drooling for days and I had never had a cat or gone to a vet before. Bowhill Animal Clinic has a friendly receptionist who answered the phone and all my questions (hours of operations, appointment booking, cost, etc.).
The clinic is small and has a very homey feel to it. There appears to only be 1 vet working at a time and 1 exam room. Both the receptionist and vet were very friendly and personable. My cat is pretty calm to begin with but the vet was very gentle with her (she owns cats herself) and explained what she was doing throughout the exam.
The appointments who came before and after me where both for dogs, and the owners were friendly people. This gives me a good indication of the kind of clientele and in turn, the kind of clinic this is.
I would definitely recommend and return to this clinic.

I have used Bowhill Animal Clinic for as long as I have owned pets. They have been my sole vet for my cats and now my lovely senior dog. They are kind, compassionate and caring. Anya has amazing experience with her own brood of dogs, and has seen it all. Never a test is ordered that you don't need, and when they need to refer up to a larger clinic with more diagnostic opportunities or experience, they do, without a thought. I have always appreciated the wonderful service I receive from this clinic, and highly recommend.

Worst vet clinic in the city. I am a long term customer who travels 45 minutes just to go there. I drove down to get a refill on the prescription THEY had prescribed to me the last time I was there for my cats. Because they did not keep adequate records of medication THEY prescribed and the weekend vet was in instead of my regular vet, they REFUSED to refill the medication. We wasted 45 min getting there...30mins arguing with them and an hour driving home in traffic. Ridiculous... taking my business elsewhere.

I will not be returning here. After 12 years of using this clinic I brought my dog in on a Saturday 15 minutes before closing time without an appointment. I asked if the vet would take a quick look at his eye infection. The receptionist replied that appointments were finished for the day and the doctor was on the phone.
I said I would wait, that I was a customer for 12 years and this was the first time I had requested anything unusual. My cat had been drooling for days and I had never had a cat or gone to a vet before. Bowhill Animal Clinic has a friendly receptionist who answered the phone and all my questions (hours of operations, appointment booking, cost, etc.).
The clinic is small and has a very homey feel to it. There appears to only be 1 vet working at a time and 1 exam room. Both the receptionist and vet were very friendly and personable. My cat is pretty calm to begin with but the vet was very gentle with her (she owns cats herself) and explained what she was doing throughout the exam.
The appointments who came before and after me where both for dogs, and the owners were friendly people. This gives me a good indication of the kind of clientele and in turn, the kind of clinic this is.
I would definitely recommend and return to this clinic.
