I took my dog to this hospital for years but should not have, now that I have a new dog and with a new amazing hospital. Staff was never friendly or very caring; on one occasion the grooming salon closed while still having my dog and did not bother to call before closing. Have used this place for over 20 years. They have always provided professional and friendly service. Have seen Dr. Donahue and he has always given great information and treatment to both my last dog and my current dog. Would highly recommend them, very friendly and helpful staff. Read Less

Best vet in Toronto in my opinion. Have had nothing but amazing treatment from every staff member. Have brought my 6 golden retrievers and husky here over the years and more recently my cat, will not go anywhere else! Read Less

I have been going to this clinic/hospital for a very very long time and I am very sad and upset how I was treated by one of the nurse today... My family and I have always had dogs but about few months ago, I rescued a few weeks old kitten and just absolutely fell in love and decided to keep him. I fed him milk with a syringe and stimulated his bum etc etc and have been a proud mommy for my kitty for the last 10 months! Today, I caught him eating a dryer sheets and I immediately called this hospital since I have been going here for many years. Then a nurse not only yelled at me, but made me feel like I did it on purpose! If I did it on purpose, I wouldn't of called!!!! I was in a panic and worried for my fur baby!!! She kept yelling "Are you kidding me" and was not a help at all! Then she tells me there is only one vet in so I have to take my kitten somewhere else. Luckily, the animal hospital I took him was so much more professional and the staff was more nicer. Needless to say, after all these years of being their loyal patients, I will be switching to another vet. They should teach their staff to be more considerate to the worried fur parents!!!! WORST and most UNCARING people you will ever meet. Taking my pet to this place is the biggest regrettable decision I've made. From the vet (whom I thought was the admin, she was so unpleasant, until she signed a certificate in front of me) to Elsa the witch who has no qualifications, hired because she raises stray cats. After a day in their so-called care, my cat would show signs of stress for days. My family has lived in many countries all over the world and our pets have always moved with us. This means that I have a lot of experience with animal clinics. When we arrived in Toronto 7 years ago, it took me about 4 years before I found a vet that I fully trusted and that is Dr. David. He is just fantastic with my dog and my 3 cats. He makes them feel at ease straight away which is fascinating to see. I never feel pushed into a 'unnecessary' treatment. Last but not least: Jody, the assistant/receptionist is such a nice and helpful person. She will do anything to get you an appointment as soon as possible.
