I have been to many vet clinics and I must say that the service at Seneca animal clinic is absolutely just amazing. Starting from the ladies at the front end who are always friendly and ready to help to Dr.Khan who helped my baby cat and also managed to help me understand what needs to be done and was so compassionate and understanding of the fact that I clearly deal with anxiety took the time to speak to me, always followed up and never showed any signs of frustration or annoyance, although I know I'm not an easy person to deal with when I'm freaking out. On a side note: they will never try to rip you off and they will always do right by your animal. Going to this clinic I feel safe that my cat is in safe hands. Read Less

Since the beginning of his symptoms 4 yrs ago, they have been here every step of the way. Extremely compassionate and professional and referred us to the best specialists. I have a kitten now registered with them as well and I commute all the way from downtown Toronto just to be in the hands of the trusting doctors and nurses. FANTASTIC! Read Less

Staff are friendly and on time. Prices are pretty good, probably one of the cheapest in the area. They don't push procedures on you and are pretty upfront about costs if you ask, which is nice.

I loved my vet doctor, Dr. Paul. She was truly amazing - patient and nurturing, at the same time open and honest about what was going on with my pet. From the time Felix came in to the exam room with her, through his diagnostics, treatment, and finally, his end-of-life care; she handled everything with class and kindness. She treated Felix and myself with dignity and respect - this made a WORLD of difference for me in staying with and trusting a vet clinic and vet, with my beloved pets' care. After Felix's passing, I felt confident in bringing my other cat for her annual check-up/vx's, who was handled the same. I have to mention the staff as well. The staff were always pleasant to deal with, and Kari (sorry if spelling wrong :S) the assistant and manager I believe, also handled my Felix with TLC. I can never thank these guys enough, and would recommend this doctor and clinic to anyone else, because of my very good experiences there. Read Less

They say to always trust your instincts. Well, I shouldve trusted Cookies (my cat) a long time ago. In the previous vet I took my cat to, he absolutely hated it. He would often hiss and claw at our former vet and his assistant, and I understand why. Our former vet often over-charged us and treated our cat very harshly, as if Cookie was a toy. He gave us an unclear diagnosis and uncaring treatment for our cat. When we decided to give Seneca Animal Clinic as try, I knew this vet was the right one for Cookie. Our cat immediately LOVED the place. He reacted much more gentle and nicer to the nurses and doctor. He even allowed one of the nurses to hold him and put him back in the carrier in a matter of seconds. It took our former vet hours to do so, even with 3 people assisting him. In fact, when the vet gave Cookie a tablet, Cookie took the medicine with only a little hesitation, and this was RARE for my cat who is extremely stubborn! Last time, it took a 4 people army to make him take his medication, and he even spat it out numerous time. This shows how trusting the staff at this Clinic are, and even our stubborn little Cookie agreed so. Unfortunately, our cat has been diagnosed with anemia, a urinary infection, and kidney failure. Our former vet did not diagnose my cat with any of these conditions, even when he used the same diagnosing process as this Clinic. This just shows how much the staff at our clinic truly cared about our cat and how thorough they are with Cookies treatment. Our cat now has been driven to the clinic for his treatment daily for a week, and I begin to think he thinks of the clinic as his second home. Every morning when he knows he has to go to the Clinic, he would often excitedly rush out to the door (even with his painful conditions!). When we pick him up, he seems really nonchalant, calm and happy. Im absolutely confident in saying that this Clinic is absolutely the best, with the nicest staff proving the uttermost attentive and caring treatment, while all costing in a reasonable price. Trust me, and take your pet to this VET!Read Less

I had this really nice lady veterinary who seemed very experienced and willing to help my kitty with everything! She was very kind and gentle and seem to love cats a lot! She first came into the room and already started introducing herself to the cat instead of me! which I very well appreciated because it means she knows that the cat is more important! She is very very helpful and introduced me to websites to teach me things and I would definitely recommend this clinic! The price was reasonable too, not too expensive actually. Read Less

I haven't had too much experience with vet clinics since I''ve only had two cats. And the first cat I had was healthy until he got old. We had been living in Scarborough at the time so took him to a different clinic. But my husband is familiar with The Seneca Animal Clinic as he's had several animals under their care during his life. His vet Dr. Yearwood has always been kind, compassionate, knowledgable & informative. I would second my hubby's review of Dr. Yearwood. When we adopted our second cat we took him to Dr. Yearwood to be checked out. He was very good with our cat . And our cat seemed to like him as well. The clinic is clean, bright, & the staff have always been cheerful & courteous. Fees for things such as testing samples are a reasonable price. On a side note, I wouldn't go with the food recommendations he made for our cat, however. The special cat food he recommended doesn't match what I've read on cat nutrition. I've read many books now on cat nutrition & while I'm not an expert, I can see the results of the food we're feeding our cat as opposed to what he always used to eat. But from what I gather, all vets are trained to recommend the manufactured food by companies like Iams, etc. The problem is that large pet food manufacturers sponsor programs at vet schools. So they're led to believe this is healthy food for your cat or dog. Do the research & check it out. Don't just feed your animal the cheapest food you can get but the best food you can afford. Even making your own cat or dog food is healthier. Read Less
