I have taken all my animals here but since new owners have took over it has went down hill I called because my cat was sick they had no time for my cat and was told couldn’t fit my cat in I had to take my cat to a different vet they really don’t care about animals it is all about money very disappointed with the new owners and when called to put my cat down today rude secretary and once again they were to busy what kind of vet refuses to put a cat down that is sick I will never take my animals back there Read Less

don't normally post reviews that are not 5 star, but I feel that I must. Have been a client of this service for 12 years..taking 5 pets in total to this clinic. We presently take our 3 Goldens for their yearly wellness exam & for the vaccinations that are absolutely necessary. Our dogs are very healthy. This service recently changed ownership & the 2 previous owners opened up a "basic" smaller clinic in Delhi. No surgical or xray facilities. Our 9 yr old golden developed a cough last week & we took her in to see one of the vets in Delhi , as it is so much closer to us & we love these vets. They definately gave us the impression that if our dog did not improve to call them for another appt.& if necessary, that we would be able to take her to the clinic in Norwich for an x-ray. They definately gave the impression that the two clinics would closely support each other. The dog did not improve & developed rapid & laboured respirations Thursday evening & overnight. I called the Delhi clinic early Friday morning & although the clinic's hours are posted 9- 5 pm, our dog could not be seen until 3 pm .."when the vets came in the office" . I expressed my concern that our dog might need an x-ray & would there be time for an x-ray at the Norwich clinic? We were reassured that there would be. We received a call early afternoon from the receptionist at the Delhi clinic that the vet feels that we should take our golden to Norwich clinic for an x-ray. She told me to call Norwich & tell them that our dog needs an x-ray. I did that ...only to be told that because our dog would need a full physical exam & an x-ray...there were not any available appointments that afternoon or the next morning (Saturday). I explained that our dog got a full physical exam 4 days earlier at the Delhi clinic (by the previous owner)....could they not fax the report of the exam? The response.."we don't take reports from another clinic. And this dog was over a week late for her "annual "wellness check anyway..so they couldn't refer to that. It was the law that a physical exam needs to be done before an x-ray. No exceptions" We were told that we could take the dog to a clinic in London, Ontario for an x-ray. But, she was going to talk someone & would get back to us" This.....after 12 years of driving 60 minutes to take our pets to this clinic. We are very disappointed. However, I called the Simcoe Animal Hospital ..explained our situation & our sweet Golden was seen almost right away. The vet spent 3 hours looking after us & doing x-rays & blood work etc. Then she called us last evening (to say that she was doing more research) as well as this morning to check on our precious dog. We had already decided to change clinics & the wonderful receptionist at Simcoe told us not to worry about getting records of our pets, that she would look after that. And she did. We are saddened & so very disappointed in the way that our "family" was treated in this situation. I am a medical professional with 40+ years in the profession. I understand how clinics are managed. But this experience was just terrible. After 12 years of praising the old Norwich clinic ....I would not recommend the Norwich or Delhi clinics to anyone! Read Less
