As an Oakville resident and canine companion of more than 50 years, I highly recommend the Royal Ford Veterinary Hospital as the best clinic I’ve ever encountered. We can rest assured that at EVERY visit - from regular check-ups to major health issues - our dogs will always receive the highest quality care. The whole team at Royal Ford, from the Vets through the front-line administration, are extensions of our dogs’ family. Royal Ford Veterinary Clinic fully surpasses 5 gold stars from myself my family and all of our fur babies.
Dr. Chris Catena has been a long standing part of our pets lives through it all. Along with All of the staff at Royal Ford, who have always provided the best care for all of their patients and pet parents that walk through their doors.
They are the kindest and most caring group of people we have had the pleasure to get to know and trust over so many years.
Even when we moved to Central Mississauga there was no doubt we would always make the drive to Royal Ford! Nothing but the best for our pets.
We have been at the clinic now reaching 20 years to date. There are Many more years to come after adding a new puppy to our family this fall.
Thank you Dr. Catena and ALL of the AMAZING Staff at Royal Ford. We love you all!

Davis Polson has been our vet for almost 20 years. I say unequivocally that he is the best vet we have ever had. Yesterday we had to euthanize our little terrier. We rescued him from Greece in November 2016 wen he was 8 months old. For almost two years it was normal care and then we discovered that he had disintigrating disks that through a later consultation with a certified radiologist were by then ragged. He guided us through our options while making sure that our beloved pet maintained his quality of life and then supported us in our decision. He has cared for four of our dogs; five of our children’s dogs and four of our grandchildren’s dogs as well as advising us on our daughter’s three cats. He is simply the best! He doesn’t do this on his own. His staff is exceptional. His clinic is immaculate. Everyone there has the best interest of the pets in their care. If you live in Oakville, particularly in the south east, this is the very best clinic for you!

I have been fortunate to have Dr. Polson and Dr. Catena care for my dogs and cats for well over 20 years and have the utmost respect and appreciation for their professional opinion no matter what the circumstances of my visits have been. The degree of care, compassion, expertise, and honesty is something I value immensely. I have moved from Oakville to Brampton but would not even consider switching to a local veterinarian. Royal Ford vets are top notch in every way. Thank you to Dr. Polson, Dr. Catena and staff for many, many years of the best of care for my pets. And thank you, Dr. Polson, for the laughs and the memories. We have been through a lot the past 20+ years.

We have had the privilege of having Dr. David Polson as my veterinarian for the last 25 years. During that time, he has ensured our two Golden Retrievers lived out their lives in excellent health. He has always provided us with expert guidance and advice. By following Dr. Polson's recommendations, we managed to extend the life of our last golden by 5 months. For that we are forever grateful. Dr. Polson is not only an excellent and caring vet but he is a wonderful person.

I have moved out of the neighbourhood but will continue to bring my critters to Royal Ford as long as they are here.

After being an employee there for almost 5 years. I was shocked at how I had just recently been treated. They made me feel just awful by turning me away and not allowing me to be a client. I thought they were better than to be disrespectful and inconsiderate to one's time and feelings due to a vendetta and or grudge (of what I do not know). Very unprofessional and disappointing. Can not believe I had recommended this practice to anyone. Unbelievable.

5 Stars!Both doctors, dr. Catena and dr. Polson are amazing. Currently we are dealing with dr Polson and I can't say enough about him. The guy is a dog whisperer! He could have pushed all kinds of expensive tests on us (that we can't afford) but he tried a simple procedure first that ended up working really well. You can just feel that he has the pet's best interest in mind but also the owners best interest. Without going into too much detail all i can say is that I trust him immensely after how he treated us and our greyhound recently. This kind of caring and understanding approach is very rare now days. Dr. Polson has a gentle and calm approach that works magic with pets.He once treated our other greyhound who was deathly afraid of getting her nails clipped. She would freak at the groomers, at other vets, us- anyone who tried to clip her nails. After a routine visit dr Polson said that he would clip her nails, I warned him but he calmly said "well, we'll try" and proceeded to clip her nails one by one and she didn't even make a sound, didn't even move, didn't care at all. She just let him cut her nails like it was nothingI was speechless!! I knew then that this guy is special and he truly loves animals.

I have been going to see Dr. David Polson with my family of five pets for the past fifteen years. Dr. Polson is empathetic, knowledgeable, experienced, and very honest with his clients. I trust him with the lives of any of my precious pets as I know that he shares the truth in a kind way, even when the pet owner doesn't want to hear bad news. He has called many times on his personal time to see how one of the dogs is doing, or to let me know that medication is ready for pickup. I have recommended Royal Ford many times over the years. I have moved to Brampton and continue to take my pets to Oakville because of the quality of care provided by the staff at Royal Ford. I have the utmost appreciation for the tender care they have provided to my pets on many occasions. Thank you, Dr. Polson and the staff at Royal Ford.Sincerely,Lynn Cawker

Dr. Chris Catena has been a long standing part of our pets lives through it all. Along with All of the staff at Royal Ford, who have always provided the best care for all of their patients and pet parents that walk through their doors.
They are the kindest and most caring group of people we have had the pleasure to get to know and trust over so many years.

Davis Polson has been our vet for almost 20 years. I say unequivocally that he is the best vet we have ever had. Yesterday we had to euthanize our little terrier. We rescued him from Greece in November 2016 wen he was 8 months old. For almost two years it was normal care and then we discovered that he had disintigrating disks that through a later consultation with a certified radiologist were by then ragged. He guided us through our options while making sure that our beloved pet maintained his quality of life and then supported us in our decision. He has cared for four of our dogs; five of our children’s dogs and four of our grandchildren’s dogs as well as advising us on our daughter’s three cats. He is simply the best! He doesn’t do this on his own. His staff is exceptional. His clinic is immaculate. Everyone there has the best interest of the pets in their care. If you live in Oakville, particularly in the south east, this is the very best clinic for you!

Dr. Chris Catena is the best! We always have a great experience and Dr. Chris is always so caring towards our little angels and towards us too!

Easily "The Best" place to take your pet for T.L.C. The doctors are very kind,skilled and understanding.The staff make each visit a friendly one.
I would trust my dog with noone else.

5 Stars!Both doctors, dr. Catena and dr. Polson are amazing. Currently we are dealing with dr Polson and I can't say enough about him. The guy is a dog whisperer! He could have pushed all kinds of expensive tests on us (that we can't afford) but he tried a simple procedure first that ended up working really well. You can just feel that he has the pet's best interest in mind but also the owners best interest. Without going into too much detail all i can say is that I trust him immensely after how he treated us and our greyhound recently. This kind of caring and understanding approach is very rare now days. Dr. Polson has a gentle and calm approach that works magic with pets.He once treated our other greyhound who was deathly afraid of getting her nails clipped. She would freak at the groomers, at other vets, us- anyone who tried to clip her nails. After a routine visit dr Polson said that he would clip her nails, I warned him but he calmly said "well, we'll try" and proceeded to clip her nails one by one and she didn't even make a sound, didn't even move, didn't care at all. She just let him cut her nails like it was nothingI was speechless!! I knew then that this guy is special and he truly loves animals.

I have been going to see Dr. David Polson with my family of five pets for the past fifteen years. Dr. Polson is empathetic, knowledgeable, experienced, and very honest with his clients. I trust him ...
I have been going to see Dr. David Polson with my family of five pets for the past fifteen years. Dr. Polson is empathetic, knowledgeable, experienced, and very honest with his clients. I trust him with the lives of any of my precious pets as I know that he shares the truth in a kind way, even when the pet owner doesn't want to hear bad news. He has called many times on his personal time to see how one of the dogs is doing, or to let me know that medication is ready for pickup. I have recommended Royal Ford many times over the years. I have moved to Brampton and continue to take my pets to Oakville because of the quality of care provided by the staff at Royal Ford. I have the utmost appreciation for the tender care they have provided to my pets on many occasions. Thank you, Dr. Polson and the staff at Royal Ford.Sincerely,Lynn Cawker
