Colborne Street Pet Hospital is located in downtown Orillia. We provide pet care for dogs and cats from puppy and kittenhood through to our seniors and geriatrics. We are a fully accredited clinic and have diagnostic tests, surgical facilities and dental equipment available. Dr. Joanne Olinyk enjoys a hands on approach, and she works with half hour appointments to get to know both you and your pet. Our goal is to educate our clients and help keep their animal companions safe and healthy. Dr. Joanne has been working in Orillia since 1989. In 1996 she bought Colborne Street Pet Hospital, and has been the sole veterinarian for the last 8 years. Recently, she welcomed Dr. Lynn Broadhurst to join her team. As of April 2016, we do not do feline declaw surgeries.

I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience as a patient/client of the vets and staff at the Colborne St Pet Hospital! Our pup, now geriatric, has been a patient there for 8 years, since she was four yrs old. The staff have been exceptional in their care from day one, and over the years they've made dramatic improvements in our pet's quality and enjoyment of life. With a ton of health issues since puppyhood, from colitis to allergies to growths, our pet has received the best care imaginable from Dr Jo and the staff. They are consistently kind, caring, thorough, extremely knowledgeable yet quick to research an issue further if needed, and always genuinely accommodating. They've gone the extra mile so many times!! On top of it all, their rates are super fair and competitive. We consider ourselves truly fortunate to have been referred there all these years ago. So grateful! Read Less

We brought in our 6 month old Shihpoo for her first vet visit. The staff were all kind and friendly with Tabby and myself. Due to the fact Tabby was a rescue from Lost Boys Hope and didn’t have a loving family till she was 6 months old we needed special info. I was informed about food ( less than I was giving ) dental care and house training ( not letting her rely on pee pads ) Our whole family look forward to a long partnership with Colborne Street Pet Hospital. Thank you Tabby and her people. Read Less

Exceptional experience here! Our technician Jenn was super awesome with our Charlie (part terrier so of course she wanted to bark at everything!) But charlie was calm most of the visit and was spoiled! The vet was very informative and explained everything in terms we understood. Our dog was taken care of and not once did we feel like we were being talked down to: just advice on how to keep our dog as healthy as we can :) completely recommend. Read Less

Dr. Olinyk and Dr. Broadhurst have been looking after our pets since we moved to Orillia 4 years ago. Our cat has a hard time with vet appointments and the staff have always been incredibly patient and gentle with him to help him slowly feel more comfortable with each appointment. Our dogs love coming to vet appointments because they get so much love and attention — it’s one of their favourite places to be! (Which makes everything easier). Read Less
