Stay away! Worst vet ever! I came here for years with my two cats. They diagnosed one of my cats with allergies for years. After visiting another vet, I found out my cat never had allergies but rather a skin fungus that could be transferred to humans!! To top it off, I lost one of my cats to a heart attack. I week later, I brought in my second cat for a check up to ease my mind and ensure nothing was wrong with him. 3 people were at the reception desk and not one greeted me for 5 minutes and I was alone in the place! When they finally greeted me, they put me in a room for over 25 minutes. When the vet finally showed up, I said that the wait was long and he responded :"If you don't like it, you can leave". This is not my main vet. I came in for an urgent issue with my dog. The front staff was very professional and answered all of my many questions. I was told in advance what procedures would take place and how much they would cost. This is very important to me, because I like to be aware of what I am paying for if I need to make a financial decision for/against the treatment or if I need to ask for alternatives for financial reasons. The final bill was fair. The visit and treatment were priced as per other Ottawa vets' pricing. My dog was not behaving normally during the visit. I assume she was in discomfort/pain. The front staff helped us to manage her/reduce her stress and to not bother the other customers and their pets. My dog was whining, pacing, and being reactive to other pets, so I really appreciated the help. The front staff were very sympathetic to her behaviour and kind with us. I had such a good experience, I am considering switching to this hospital as my main vet. Read Less

Was visiting Ottawa with my dogs. Noticed a wound on the neck on my boxer/boarder collie mix. Call the clinic, explained the problem. Receptionist was very understanding, and immediately found time to see Ruby. When we arrived at the clinic, receptionist and technician were efficient and nice. The Vet saw us immediately. He was gentle and soft-spoken with Ruby. Following a thorough examination, he prescribed oral antibiotic, and mentioned that he could also prescribe topical meds, but that the antibiotics should do the job. I really appreciated that the vet didn't try to up-sell another medication. The final invoice was very reasonable. Highly recommended. Read Less
