Honestly the best care you can find. Lovely doctors and all staff. They practice fantastic medicine and are very knowledgeable. We have been taking our animals to Taunton Road Animal Hospital for a few years now, and have been repeatedly disappointed with the service we have been receiving. The staff are pushy and unprofessional when you don't want to buy specific products, services, surgeries, etc. This clinic's fees are much higher than other clinics. We have often felt manipulated or made to feel guilty for opting out of specific surgeries, products or services. Don't be fooled by the reviews. You will be happy for the first few months until you realize you are being overcharged and treated like just another number. This is why DRPS no longer uses their clinic for their K-9 service dogs. There are better clinics out there that will provide the same level of care with the appropriate fees. Read Less

They don't tell you costs before they nab you with a bill. Nice people but i also find Terry get their backs up when you tell them what you know about your own animal. Or when it's time to check out and you make a comment about costs- nicely! Read Less

Dr. Phillips is the BEST vet we have ever had. I have two dogs, one is 17 years old, the other is 8. I have been to a number of veterinarians throughout their lives but I will never have to find another. Throughout all the doggie health issues we have had, big or small, Dr. Phillips has been there to see us through it. She calls personally to follow-up and is such a pleasure to deal with. Their clinic is beautiful and clean. On days when we must visit and Dr. Phillips is not available, one of the other doctors will see us and we have never had a poor experience with any of them. We have two dogs and have been using Taunton Road Animal Hospital as our veterinarian clinic for about two years. they are wonderful, if your veterinarian is unavailable there is usually another vet who can see you on short notice. their pricing is fair, the facility is new and clean. Read Less

Of all of the vets that I have dealt this, no one comes close to all of the staff at Taunton Road Animal Hospital. Not only are they kind and respectful to both me and my dog, but they are prompt and work diligently to come up with a plan that works specifically for my fur-baby. I have been taking my pets TRAH for 25 years and they truly are the best around. They always fit you in when you are desperate. They are so encouraging and knowledgeable that I feel confident in what recommendations and care. I have never had a bad experience and feel blessed to have so many good veterinarians working in one establishment. I have been with this facility now 7 years before they moved to this new building and its been the best services an animal can get. My old dog was a rescue and they made him healthy again. The vets there know what needs are in order and are very informational and always open to taking questions. I now have a 1.5 year old Siberian husky my pride and joy and she's healthy they always call to make appointments and when appointments are coming up making sure you are still Available. I drive almost 2 hours to take my dog here I live in Orillia and take her here for everything this is the place to go for anything pet related even for questions. Read Less

My mom used to take our first dog Monte that we rescued to the clinic and now I have started to take my little boy. By far this is the best clinic around and everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend the vet clinic to anyone who has a furry family member. Read Less

We have had the good fortune of having Dr. Smith (and many of the other vets too) along with all the wonderful staff take good care of our little Snickers over the past almost 10 years. I believe this is a wonderful vet clinic! I am a dog (Rosie) and cat (Merlin) owner. The first time I took Merlin to the vet they took their time to explain the best brands of food to feed him and why they stand behind those brands. Our first appointment the vet spent an hour with us just educating us on different things to know about cats. Another time I was in the hospital for 5 weeks when Rosie was diagnosed with hip dysplagia, they took the time to give me the results over the phone when I couldn't be there to ask questions. They also got other opinions from other vets on treatment options for me before I even had to ask. Excellent, friendly staff and service. We've only been by for a visit a couple of times for check ups and boosters but the vet & techs were very helpful and gave lots of information. First of all, my apologies for letting 6 weeks go by before I took the time to write this review and thank everyone at the Taunton Rd. Animal Hospital. It was a very sad day when we arrived at the Taunton Road Animal Hospital with our Sadie. We knew we wouldn't be bringing her home with us that day and were so concerned we might be coming in too soon. Dr. Newhouse assured us it wasn't too early; we could all  see the pain Sadie was in. We were allowed as much time as we needed with Sadie  (thank you so much!). The room had floor mats and blankets, dimmed lights to help Sadie relax, and we were able to get cozy with her on the floor as we said goodbye and helped her along her way. A very unpleasant situation was made bearable, even memorable,  by Dr. Newhouse and her caring staff. We are thankful and forever grateful,Pat and Rita Grieve Read Less
