At first I was happy with this vet. I listened to there advice. They are definitely in it for the money. Unnecessary for multiple vaccinations etc. For multiple years. They came off as nice but in the the end they always made me feel terrible as a pet owner but they always insisted I needed this and that test for my cats. Cats are happy and healthy. Switched vets. Save your money and go somewhere else!

If you want the best...you can't expect cheap. I almost let the poor reviews on here regarding this place being too expensive etc. sway me from taking my pup here in an emergency. I chose to ignore the few "cheapo" reviews as I will call them, and rushed my dog in as they were opened first in the area (great hours for this place by the way). Anyway, our poor pup had lost his toenail and injured his foot, cue our new Angel Dr. Charlotte Friendship. Not only did she take care of our boy right away and with pure kindness, but she spotted something not so right in his paw. We are still in the middle of testing to see what's going on with his foot, but without Dr. Friendship it could have been much worse. This place is fantastic, the service is exceptional. Yes it does seem expensive, but aren't all vets? If you want the best - you send your loved ones here. It's that simple.

I took a third medical appointment for my ten years old dog who after the last traitement, was suffering, was throwing up since two days, couldn't urinate since 24 hours, couldn't walk or stand up. The vet did a blood test and proposed to wait. After 24 hours, my labrador "Bounty" died agonizing in unbearable suffering.

A couple of months ago we had taken our dog for her annual checkup. At that time our dog had a couple of small health issues, but for an older dog she was happy, bouncy and relatively healthy. We were told she needed her annual vaccinations and blood work, so trying to be good pet parents we agreed but voiced our concerns over giving her all of the vaccinations at once. We were assured they were safe. After the vaccinations our dogs health worsened within 24/hrs, and within a month her health had deteriorated to severely that we had to put her down. I regret taking her in for the checkup and for the vaccinations.....she would probably still be with us if we hadn't.

Our 4 year old Golden Doodle had a seizure for the first time yesterday afternoon. After watching my last dog passaway after having a seizure I panicked. Oshawa Animal Hospital was the only nearby vet open and that could take him immediately (other than the emergency clinic). Dr. Allison Sutton was so welcoming, informative, caring, compassionate, etc. The vet tech brought him right in a patient room, did the external exam and the doctor came in soon after. She clearly recommended extensive blood work and urinary testing. We got the results back a mere 16 hours later! After receiving a follow-up phone call the next morning, the vet determined he needed medicine immediately and to come in. We spent another 20+ minutes explaining things to us and my mom. She told us what to be aware of and what to do/say if/when it becomes an emergency. Needless to say we will be transfering our dog and 2 cats to this clinic after this wonderful experience during a stressful and tramatic time.

We recently had to say goodbye to our cat. The whole process of emotionally making that decision was awful, but as soon as I made the call to OAH the support all the staff provided was beyond exceptional. For so many years of bringing Keecha there, I don't know why I would have expected any less. I have no idea how, with so many clients, they can continually make us feel like we are the only ones they care for. Thank you for being a part of our family, and when we are ready for a new furry addition to the family you are darn right we will be back to see you again! After all the injuries Keecha sustained over the years, I'm proud to say together we gave him the best quality of life right to the end.

Best clinic with the best vets and support staff. I had to find a new clinic a few years ago so I asked numerous pet owners and the list was narrowed down to a couple with this clinic coming out on top with no negative feedback. Without notice, I dropped in, had a full tour and was so impressed with the staff and facility that I made arrangements to transfer the records of my 6 pets that day. Can't say enough and highly recommend Oshawa Animal Hospital to everyone.

A couple of months ago we had taken our dog for her annual checkup. At that time our dog had a couple of small health issues, but for an older dog she was happy, bouncy and relatively healthy. We were told she needed her annual vaccinations and blood work, so trying to be good pet parents we agreed but voiced our concerns over giving her all of the vaccinations at once. We were assured they were safe. After the vaccinations our dogs health worsened within 24/hrs, and within a month her health had deteriorated to severely that we had to put her down. I regret taking her in for the checkup and for the vaccinations.....she would probably still be with us if we hadn't.

Our 4.5 year old Siamese fell ill suddenly and had to be brought to Oshawa Animal Hospital. Although the outcome was a large tumor in his tummy and ultimately had to be put down that day, this place made the traumatic experience as comfortable as could be and treated Riley amazing, making his last couple hours with us at least comfortable.

Loved coming here for my ferrets when Dr. Sutton was still working there and looking forward to meeting the new ferret vet. All the staff is extremely friendly and always giving tours to clients. I've never had to wait for more than 10 minutes to get into an exam room and I'm usually out within an hour.

They weren't worried about the money, they just wanted to ensure the dog was taken care of. The staff at Oshawa animal hospital are kind and truly animal lovers.

Our 4 year old Golden Doodle had a seizure for the first time yesterday afternoon. After watching my last dog passaway after having a seizure I panicked. Oshawa Animal Hospital was the only nearby vet open and that could take him immediately (other than the emergency clinic). Dr. Allison Sutton was so welcoming, informative, caring, compassionate, etc. The vet tech brought him right in a patient room, did the external exam and the doctor came in soon after. She clearly recommended extensive blood work and urinary testing. We got the results back a mere 16 hours later! After receiving a follow-up phone call the next morning, the vet determined he needed medicine immediately and to come in. We spent another 20+ minutes explaining things to us and my mom. She told us what to be aware of and what to do/say if/when it becomes an emergency. Needless to say we will be transfering our dog and 2 cats to this clinic after this wonderful experience during a stressful and tramatic time.

We recently had to say goodbye to our cat. The whole process of emotionally making that decision was awful, but as soon as I made the call to OAH the support all the staff provided was beyond exceptional. For so many years of bringing Keecha there, I don't know why I would have expected any less. I have no idea how, with so many clients, they can continually make us feel like we are the only ones they care for. Thank you for being a part of our family, and when we are ready for a new furry addition to the family you are darn right we will be back to see you again! After all the injuries Keecha sustained over the years, I'm proud to say together we gave him the best quality of life right to the end.

Best clinic with the best vets and support staff. I had to find a new clinic a few years ago so I asked numerous pet owners and the list was narrowed down to a couple with this clinic coming out on top with no negative feedback. Without notice, I dropped in, had a full tour and was so impressed with the staff and facility that I made arrangements to transfer the records of my 6 pets that day. Can't say enough and highly recommend Oshawa Animal Hospital to everyone.
