Thank you for your interest in Greenboro Veterinary Clinic.
The clinic first opened its doors to serve the needs of dogs and cats on September 22, 2003.
Our team of veterinarians, managers and staff members have an unmistakable pride in the clinic where they play an integral role. We share a belief that client satisfaction and extraordinary pet care are paramount. A successful practice must meet the expectations of the clientele and we understand that for many people that pets are not simply animals but rather an integral part of your family.
The facility is young, computerized, and well-equipped for radiology, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, hospitalization, and in-house laboratory testing. Whether dealing with a routine health examination or investigation into a potential concern, most of your pet care needs can be addressed at Greenboro Veterinary Clinic. We are determined to consider every patient as an individual and will strive to collaborate with you to determine suitable prevention, diagnostic, and treatment plans for your pet(s).
For your convenience we offer evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are open Saturdays to pick up food and medications as well as schedule upcoming appointments. After-hours, emergency cases are referred to one of two emergency facilities that are adequately staffed to serve you and your pet’s needs.

I've been bringing all my fur babies here for as long as I can remember... even when I was working at a different animal hospital! The staff are really helpful and attentive. I can't even count the number of times I have called to reschedule, or ask over-protective-fur-mama questions, or provided overly gruesome details to ensure my dog is okay, only to be greeted with total empathy and professionalism.I want to give a special shout out to Mandy, who always remembers us, and babies my Gizmo almost as much as I do. You can tell she truly cares about the animals, and that's SO important in a vet clinic. I most recently trusted them to do Gizmo's dental surgery, and they were really great! They called with updates, knowing I was nervous and a bit on edge, and they even followed up the next day to make sure that Giz was doing okay at home. If my opinion isn't enough to convince you, I'll leave you with this- Gizmo gets excited, not scared, to come by the clinic. Do with that what you will!

The staff were kind enough to make an appointment the same day for my daughter's dog, who was visiting and having terrible itching issues, and I found everyone professional, kind, helpful and thorough. Staff that really cares! My initial appt with my cat felt slightly rushed, however it was still very thorough and the Dr. made great food recommendations. The clinic followed up the appt with a call to check in on their recommendations and followed up again to answer my further questions once consulting the vet. Completely impressed with their attention to detail, and their knowledge and willingness to help pet owners with whatever they need.

Dr. Fingler was wonderful with our 2 kittens. He was so thorough, gentle, patient and extremely informative. He took time to explain important elements of their development and advised on what to do at home to keep the kittens in good health as they grow. From the minute I walked in I sensed that he genuinely cared about them. The techs were also wonderful taking the time to make the kittens feel comfortable and cared about while giving vaccines. Thank you for a truly GREAT experience. I very highly recommend this vet and am so happy I found them.

I was going around town with my S.O. on my day off (Christmas eve) looking for a new vet clinic after recently moving. I had my dogs with me (both well behaved and obedient) to get them socialized and acquainted. The receptionist never greeted us and appeared unimpressed that we were there. I kindly let her know the reason I was in and she just kind of nodded and walked off. As the receptionist was leaving with her own dog, she told us to move as she was having a hard time controlling her dog who was lunging and growling at the end of it's leash. Then a vet tech came out, didn't greet nor introduce herself (which is unusual), also appeared displeased we were there. My s.o. and I just asked some questions about surgeries and other basic info. The vet tech responded to us with what seemed like an unhappy attitude, it felt like she was implying we were not good pet parents (in response to my questions) and it left me personally upset with the whole situation.

Best clinic in Ottawa in my opinion. My Ruby girl loves Dr. Fingler and all the lovely tech and receptionist ladies! She's two now and has been going to Greenboro since 8.5 weeks. She's not fearful of going to the vets as they care about your pet, make them feel comfortable and treat them kindly - the treats help too! The staff are professional and friendly at the same time. Dr. Fingler gives us his diagnosis, then gives us options and doesn't put pressure to do certain tests or procedures that aren't absolutely necessary. I completely trust the Greenboro team with my dog, and always have positive experiences with them! Why aren't all vets like this?!

I know Vet clinics. Some are good, some are bad. This one is great.My dog was hit by a car. She did not require emerg care, but I needed her checked out. I DONT use Alta Vista anymore and my niece suggested hers,This place is calming to animals, they dont try to do more than is necessary, but will suggest if's and maybe's.They are locally owned and operated, so you are not getting American type service, nor big box ignorance in their knowledge.They care!

Dr. Fingler was wonderful with our 2 kittens. He was so thorough, gentle, patient and extremely informative. He took time to explain important elements of their development and advised on what to do at home to keep the kittens in good health as they grow. From the minute I walked in I sensed that he genuinely cared about them. The techs were also wonderful taking the time to make the kittens feel comfortable and cared about while giving vaccines. Can't recommend highly enough -- the staff and doctors are fantastic (and the prices are reasonable). :)

We were very lucky to have had such a good veterinary staff. Sable was always well taken care of. They made her feel at home every visit.

I know Vet clinics. Some are good, some are bad. This one is great.My dog was hit by a car. She did not require emerg care, but I needed her checked out. I DONT use Alta Vista anymore and my niece sug...
I know Vet clinics. Some are good, some are bad. This one is great.My dog was hit by a car. She did not require emerg care, but I needed her checked out. I DONT use Alta Vista anymore and my niece suggested hers,This place is calming to animals, they dont try to do more than is necessary, but will suggest if's and maybe's.They are locally owned and operated, so you are not getting American type service, nor big box ignorance in their knowledge.They care!
