Everything we do or recommend is to develop and maintain a happy healthy well-adjusted pet.
North Heritage Animal Hospital opened on the East side of Owen Sound in 1997. Our small staff is focused on getting to know our patients and their owners. This allows us to help make appropriate recommendations for preventative medicine and treatment of illness to best serve each individual patient and their families.
We also have a small sister clinic in the Chesley Veterinary Clinic in Chesley Ontario which offers limited routine small animal appointments as well as some basic small animal surgical procedures. To book an appointment at our Chesley location please call 519-363-3431

I have been taking my pets here since they opened 20 years ago. I love this place and the kind people that work here. When I lost my beloved dog Daisy to a terrible accident, they were kind and compassionate and helped me through that awful time. I love Dr. Sasha Kotzeff! She listens to your opinions and explains things very well. As long as she is there I will never change veterinarians.

On July 5th we lost Charlie. Today on July 19th I called to see what the status of picking him up was and the animal hospital told me they FORGOT to send him away to be cremated. Not once, but TWICE. ...
On July 5th we lost Charlie. Today on July 19th I called to see what the status of picking him up was and the animal hospital told me they FORGOT to send him away to be cremated. Not once, but TWICE. So for two weeks my pup has been sitting at the animal hospital, cremation paid for, and still nothing done. Then, they go on to tell me that they can't send him away for another week, and I can't pick him up for a WEEK AFTER THAT. Absolutely ridiculous. Whoever takes care of things like that needs to be ashamed of themselves. I will NEVER go back.

I have been taking my pets here since they opened 20 years ago. I love this place and the kind people that work here.
