Love them!!!! They actually care about the animals they treat and put the animal ahead of money....amazing!. I had a very sick little girl and the Vet I had been going to for years refused to treat until I could pay (payday was 2days away)....I called Paris Vet Clinic and explained the situation-and they said she needed to be seen now and would let me pay in 2 days.....they did not know me and they did that!!!! Now I only go there and wouldn't go anywhere else! If your animal needs surgery and you can't pay all at once - they set up a pre authorized payment plan with you and let you pay over time . Dr. Rick Healy is an exceptionally compassionate vet. We had noticed my daughters dog had a hard time holding its head up, glossy eyed. This came on within 15 minutes so my daughter and I took him to Dr. Holden. His diagnosis nurological damage or rabies. He told us how costly it would be for treatment than gave us our options. And told us we had to run rabies test. We regrettably decided to put him down. The following year our other two dogs started showing the same thing. We noticed one dog having a hard time holding his head up then slowly laid down breathing got faint and shallow then we saw the other dog doing the same behavior. So we started looking up the symptoms on Google and ruled out poisoning as they were inside dogs except to go potty and we checked every where outside for anything they may have gotten into. We found a frog that gives these same symptoms if your dog licks them.( I had mentioned to Dr. Holden that I had found frog parts around the yard he didn't say anything. When my daughters dog had neurological symptoms .) We have ponds and yes frogs. This frog is called a cane toad or a marine toad and they secret toxic secretions for protection dogs can get addicted to this. The dogs breathing slows down and they can't control their body like nurological damage but within 24 hours the dogs are fine .completely normal. So we put a dog to sleep that would have been fine in 24 hours. Soooooo sad due to the wrong diagnosis.Read Less

It is very hard to find a veterinarian that will treat pot bellied pigs and I was referred to Dr. Melanie Gagnon if I ever need care for my piggies. Hands down the best Veterinary Clinic around! They've been providing exceptional care to my dogs, horses, and cats for 16 years! Recently my dog presented with a very very rare condition that would be fatal in the near-term. Dr. Scherer and Dr. Pattison utilized all their resources and expertise to perform the surgery, and my Maggie came out of it with flying colours. Love how wonderful and accommodating they are with my Great Dane Molly, who is fearful of male vets, and is fear aggressive with dogs. They caught a mast cell tumour on her arm and I thought I was going to have to sell a kidney to pay for her surgery, but the price was very reasonable. They prepared a kennel for her the day of the surgery, but no amount of urging would get my Dane to go in, so they graciously offered the empty "cat room" complete with cozy blankets for her to stay in while she awaited her surgery. When I came to pick her up I was informed she was wrapped "like a burrito" in her blankets while she slept off her anaesthetic, and my girl LOVES to be tucked in with blankets. Read Less
