Over many, many years, we have brought our pets to Georgian Animal Hospital for care. Pets who were often in need of medical care because of injuries, starvation, etc and all needing compassion and lots and lots of tlc. All of which they received when cared for at the Hospital. All of our pets have been 'strays, pets left to succumb to the elements; dogs and cats that showed up at the door or were seen in the vicinity with no home, living in trees trying to survive the bitter cold of winter; some left in cages to starve. And some that our oldest son brought home hoping we had room for one more - and so we did! (He worked for an animal rescue society.) Needless to say, we have very often had the need of the expertise of Georgian Animal Hospital professional staff . The Staff have always been welcoming, compassionate and caring and knowledgeable on how to provide the care that the dogs and cats may have needed. We only have two left now, but, still we need their expertise. For example our dog was hurt this past weekend by accident by another neighbours dog and so when the Clinic opened, they were there to assist in providing for her care. We are, unfortunately, getting to the age that adopting another pet is unrealistic. But, we would encourage others who may read this review, to consider welcoming into their homes the ones that need your help the most. The ones that nobody wanted! They have each and every one proved to be wonderful guests and each one has become part of our family. So you don't need to 'buy' a dog or cat maybe consider adopting one or, maybe let them adopt you? A 5+ Star rating is well deserved by the staff at Georgian Animal Hospital. So to Dr. Sue West, Hayley, Patti, Crissy, Diane, Lisa, Debbie Dr. Barker, Dr. Helps and to our previous Vet at Georgian - Dr. Hillary Turnbull - bless you all for caring for the critters we have brought to you for your help. (P.S....truth be told....not only did our pets receive compassionate, loving care, but so did Dan and I when we needed their support)! 5 Star isn't enough! For all these reasons and experiences, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Georgian Animal Hospital. Read Less

The entire staff at this animal hospital care about every single pet that comes through their doors. They have treated me and my little girl with the utmost compassion and kindness. If the phone is busy and it most likely will be due to how busy they are I highly suggest you keep calling until you get through. It's worth it. This is a picture of my little girl Sicily roughly 12 days after she had her right eye removed. She had picked up her ball for the first time and wanted to play with me. She will be 14 in May. EVERYONE at Georgian Animal Hospital treats their patients and the patients owners very well. I was with another vet in town quite some time back and I had an emergency with my dog. They told me they were to busy to see her. I called Georgian Animal Hospital and told them about my emergency situation and was told they were ridiculously busy right now but to bring her in and they'd make room to see her. That day both myself and my Mother switched clinics to Georgian Bay Animal Hospital and I have been incredibly happy with the treatment my dog has received there. Not to mention the treatment I have received as well with my multiple calls after the surgeries my dog has had when I was worried. Always took the time to put me at ease or fit Sicily in just to check on her and again, put my mind at ease. Fantastic people there. Thanks for everything. Read Less
