Took my beloved 15 year old dog in a month ago to have her put to rest. Paid the $300+ to put her to rest then another $350 to have her cremated. Been a month still have not gotten my dogs remains back. Called the vets and staff was rude, gave us run around just to inform us that our dog was still in their freezer because someone forgot to send her out 3 weeks ago. Offered no solutions was very rude. DO NOT bring your beloved pets here. They overdose dogs and cats by mistake all the time. So $700 to have my dog sit in there freezer for 3 weeks. I was told today by staff and vet it would be at least 3 more weeks before I get her back and by then I won’t even be sure it’s my dogs remains. Filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Twitter, Instagram, OMV and filing small claims court, will NEVER recommend using this vet to friends or family or enemies . They might be cheaper then others but look at the problems that happens with cheap vets. Took my cats there to be fixed . I have never had a cat in so much pain following a spay, and the stiches were awful- the edges of the incision line weren’t approximated before suturing leaving a clump of skin that caused pain with every movement. My cat also would not allow me near her and hissed at me for days following the surgery. It took a lot to get her comfortable with me again. I feel sickened that I left my animals in the care of High street vet. I will never allow my judgement to be clouded by a lesser cost again. The techs I spoke with were rude , unprofessional , and uneducated. They did not smile, and I felt nothing but judged for asking questions on aftercare. I am a regular costumer of peterborough Pet Hospital where the staff there are informative, professional and very caring . I would recommend paying the extra cost to take your animals there . When a single Father calls in tears offering his only $100 as a start and asks for a payment plan to look at a dog I think is dying. My family dog is dying and the only was tbis office cares is if I have cash upfront!? They have good reviews by their well off clients. If you are not rich they treat you and your pet like trash. March 4th we had to take our beautiful 10 year old lab Shadow in to be put to sleep. The employees were very kind and helpful as we were very upset. I found the Dr to be very thorough and I trusted his opinion. He wasn't eager to run all sorts of costly tests and wanted to try some medication first for my dog. The office visit was very reasonably priced at $45 and they are open on Sat and Sun. Read Less

I brought my 10 month old male cat in for shots and to book an appointment to have him fixed. I had to fill out a form for medical history/breed/etc. I filled out the forms, the vet didn't even bother to look at them. He just asked me to put my cat on the scale, he wrote the weight down then asked me what shots I wanted to have done. I had given the vet his records from the last appointment he had out of town with all the shots he had done and ones he still needed...the vet didn't even look at it! He just kept asking me what I wanted to give him. I am NOT a vet so I have no idea what the shots are called, I had to reference the records and ask for appropriate shots. The vet gave him the needles then proceeded to tell me I had to bring him in for his second set later...this appointment was for his second set!! The vet had literally just given my cat his second set of shots! I told the vet this, and asked him when I could bring my cat in to be fixed. He said, "no, no, too young...need to wait." 10 months is not too young! He argued with me for a bit about this. The vet didn't know how old my cat was, I had written it down on the sheet and verbally told him!! Basically, what I'm getting at, is the vet had very little understanding of English and fully expected me to tell him what to do. Not a very good vet if he can't read and do something as simple as give correct shots with all previous records in front of him. Against better judgement, I took my cat back to get fixed at this office..giving the benefit of the doubt. The procedure went well and reception gave me instructions for aftercare and followed up with me to make sure my cat was doing well. The receptionist was informative and knew how to do her job properly...and is the reason I give this office two stars. Can I give negative stars?! Took my sisters dog there as she was having tummy problems, after spending $300 on new foods and 2 different antibiotics the vet insisted she needed. Her first diagnosis was wrong, shes gotten more sick since going there. When we azked if there was a more natural way to help her the vet told us to go else where. No well we could try this or try that, just a straight up leave. These people just want to take your money. They mistreated our dog and scared her. Never going back. Read Less
