Dr.Kafai is not a reliable person and also untrustworthy. He only cares about money and his own business. I'm telling this and also share my experience working with him so other people who want to work with him will be careful before approaching him.
I'm an IT professional and have an IT company and he asked me to provide him consultation for purchasing server and some IT equipment for his animal hospital and then doing the IP project and providing IT services afterwards. After I provided him consultation and some IT services (around 7 hours) ,he purchased the IT equipment and signed a contract with me to do his IT job. A week after signing the contract he cancelled the contract on bad terms and he didn't pay the IT services I had provided him.
I'm not sure about the services he provides to animals which I've heard even if an animal is in emergency state he first charges the owner before he touches the animal, but I want those who want to do business with him to be careful.

I've been a client of Dr. Kafai's since the late 90's & will never bring my fur babies anywhere else. Dr. Kafai has been practicing for a very longtime now & hes more than earned those hanging on his wall! Hes a straight shooter & will tell you exactly how sick your baby is. I had 2 dogs & Dr. Kafai preformed flawless surgery on them & both dogs had very serious things going on. I also had a cat in his care. Of course we had to say goodbye to all of them, but in the end Dr. Kafai was there for them. He never once steered me in the wrong direction & his diagnosis was always accurate. He also has a belief that senior cats & dogs don't need to be put to sleep unless it is absolutely necessary. He has a couple of senior animals running his office! He is an awesome vet & I highly recommend him & his compassion for animals is through the roof. Despite what people say about him, I can't say enough he's a great man. Reviews dont just cut it. Just go meet the man he has a very up to date hospital. It is clean & sterile. He has a pet hotel to trust me go there. Thank you

I found Dr. Kafai through my partner since they had cat & were using his services & since then, I don't even dare to go anywhere else.
His passion about animals, his knowledge & most important, his care is what makes him in top of all.
Last year, he saved one of my 16 years old cats & with his care & help thereafter, I am hoping to have my Bailey around as long as he is healthy & happy.
I recommend him to anybody who cares about his best friend.

While I read many things about Dr. Kafai's attitude or the appearance of his clinic, we have had nothing but great experiences from him. I have had 2 pets I have had to put to sleep, and found him to be extremely considerate and kind, and he made the experience as painless as possible under the circumstances. He diagnosed a problem with one of my cat's digestions and we no longer have to clean up throw up every day! I just called him about getting my kitten spayed, and he advised me that it is expensive and gave me a number to call that would be much less. What vet does that??? I so appreciate his honesty and kindness.

My experience here started with me filling out a new patient information form. On the back of this form was dr. Kafai's answers to his veterinarian exam on scrap paper. After meeting with him I'm pretty sure his credentials were received online over the last 24 hours.
My experience continued when I was in the waiting room and heard him yelling at his wife to set up the exam table.
When I got into the office and put my sick dog on the table it was clear to me he had no idea what he was talking about.
He kept asking me what I thought was wrong with the dog and why I hadn't brought the dog in before making me feel guilty.
He was badgering me asking me do I think it's an ulcer and kept asking the same questions talking over me.
I was becoming upset and frustrated.
After placing my dog on the exam table he suggested my dog had cancer even after I had said he has vomiting and diarrhea.
He told me he recommended I give my dog medication injections, X-rays and a wellness test. When I asked what the medication was for he kept repeating diarrhea. He told me his Wellness test cost $250 when I called other vets they told me the standard rate was $90.
Needless to say I was uncomfortable and dissatisfied and left the office without paying him his examination fee. I would never go back nor would I recommend him.
I think dr.kafai is in the wrong business I think he might be better suited to a custom and Border Protection Officer. He lacks sensitivity compassion and overall knowledge.

Dr. Kafai saved my cat's life! He is the most caring and knowledgeable Veterinarian I know. It's the first time I felt I could trust. Dr. Kafai DID NOT take advantage of us with ridiculously expensive and unnecessary operations and tests. He gave us a very affordable and affective treatment that was simple and easy on our much loved kitty cat. He could've told us to do much more expensive and drastic treatments and operations and we would've done it because we will do anything to save our pets. He is truly a caring person that has a true love and concern for his furry patients! 🐶 Thank you so much Dr. Kafai 💖🐱

If you care about you pets don't leave them there.

I would like to rate Dr. Kafai and his clinic with the excellent mark. Dr. Kafai is very professional, caring, attentive to the details, experienced and kind. My cat had a problem and Dr. Kafai resolved it in the most gentle way as possible. On top of that, I would like to say that customer service is superb! I was working on Saturday & can not wait with my kitty till Monday, so Dr. Kafai came for me 2 hours earlier of his normal working hours. I picked my cat after work and I found my pet clean, calm and treated in very big clean bright cage where he had food, water, litter box and huge space to sleep. Thank you, Dr. Kafai, for your kindness and professionalism. For sure we will be back. xo Anastasia

My family and I have been visiting Dr.Kafai for 8 years. He is a very polite and caring veterinarian. He has given our family good advice over the years to the well being of our dogs, and has always been accommodating. He is more than willing to help in any respect, whether it is advice over the phone, taking care of our dog in last minute emergencies, or greeting us at the door on unexpected visits. I strongly recommend Dr.Kafai for any of your pets needs, I can truly say his love for animals show, and his experience as a veterinarian is well defined through his knowledge, and care that our pets have received.

I had my dog for almost 15 years and she got hit by a car and Dr. Kafai was the ONLY vet after desperately searching for a clinic to operate on her for a fair and affordable price because of his love for animals. Even if the clinic smells a little it's because he actually FOSTERS dogs that people just drop off to abandon.. my current dog is one of his fosters that he SAVED ..so get it right before you judge his clinic..it' actually inspiring for what he does for pets. I truly recommend him and can say that he helped my family and our dog more than any other money pinching clinic.

Worst animal hospital I've ever been to. The bulding smells very bad which made me question if they use clean equipment or not. I neutered my cat here and they let my cat go as soon as he came out of surgery instead of keeping him for a couple of hours so the effect of the drugs used in surgery could be minimized. This caused my cat to start bleeding when he got home and put him in alot of pain. We decided to take him back to check if everything's normal and they decided to keep my cat for the night at that place. Next morning when we went to pick our cat up we find out he was sleeping in his carrier which we left him in and it was filled with his poop since they didnt clean him up. That is the worst thing that can happen after a surgey since it can increase the chances of an infection. This was the worst experience of my life I would NOT recommend this place to anyone with pets. If you like your pet STAY OUT of this place. The cheaper price is not worth the pain of seeing your pet suffering.

This is the most considerate, experienced vet I have ever met. Our dog was very ill for years, many surgeries, great expense, Dr.Kafai was the only one to look deeply enough to diagnose the problem. Which, by the way needed medication not surgery. His clinic charges are about 25% less than the neibouring vet. Read his CV very impressive. I recommend him without hesitation!!!

I just called him about getting my kitten spayed, and he advised me that it is expensive and gave me a number to call that would be much less. What vet does that??? My experience here started with me filling out a new patient information form. On the back of this form was dr. Kafai's answers to his veterinarian exam on scrap paper. After meeting with him I'm pretty sure his credentials were received online over the last 24 hours.
My experience continued when I was in the waiting room and heard him yelling at his wife to set up the exam table.
When I got into the office and put my sick dog on the table it was clear to me he had no idea what he was talking about.
He kept asking me what I thought was wrong with the dog and why I hadn't brought the dog in before making me feel guilty.
He was badgering me asking me do I think it's an ulcer and kept asking the same questions talking over me.
I was becoming upset and frustrated.
After placing my dog on the exam table he suggested my dog had cancer even after I had said he has vomiting and diarrhea.
He told me he recommended I give my dog medication injections, X-rays and a wellness test. When I asked what the medication was for he kept repeating diarrhea. He told me his Wellness test cost $250 when I called other vets they told me the standard rate was $90.
Needless to say I was uncomfortable and dissatisfied and left the office without paying him his examination fee. I would never go back nor would I recommend him.
I think dr.kafai is in the wrong business I think he might be better suited to a custom and Border Protection Officer. He lacks sensitivity compassion and overall knowledge.

He is very concerned about the welfare of the animals that visit, and how to make sure they are happy. This is the kind of doctor I would like to have for myself. It is very rare to see this level of devotion nowadays.

Dr. Kafai saved my cat's life! He is the most caring and knowledgeable Veterinarian I know. It's the first time I felt I could trust. Dr. Kafai DID NOT take advantage of us with ridiculously expensive and unnecessary operations and tests. He gave us a very affordable and affective treatment that was simple and easy on our much loved kitty cat. He could've told us to do much more expensive and drastic treatments and operations and we would've done it because we will do anything to save our pets. He is truly a caring person that has a true love and concern for his furry patients! 🐶 Thank you so much Dr. Kafai 💖🐱

It was In a basement. Dark and smelly.
If you care about you pets don't leave them there.
Seems that the staff are much more friendly to clients of ther background, Persian
And speak Farsi.

I would like to rate Dr. Kafai and his clinic with the excellent mark. Dr. Kafai is very professional, caring, attentive to the details, experienced and kind. My cat had a problem and Dr. Kafai resolved it in the most gentle way as possible. On top of that, I would like to say that customer service is superb! I was working on Saturday & can not wait with my kitty till Monday, so Dr. Kafai came for me 2 hours earlier of his normal working hours. I picked my cat after work and I found my pet clean, calm and treated in very big clean bright cage where he had food, water, litter box and huge space to sleep. Thank you, Dr. Kafai, for your kindness and professionalism. For sure we will be back. xo Anastasia

My family and I have been visiting Dr.Kafai for 8 years. He is a very polite and caring veterinarian. He has given our family good advice over the years to the well being of our dogs, and has always been accommodating. He is more than willing to help in any respect, whether it is advice over the phone, taking care of our dog in last minute emergencies, or greeting us at the door on unexpected visits. I strongly recommend Dr.Kafai for any of your pets needs, I can truly say his love for animals show, and his experience as a veterinarian is well defined through his knowledge, and care that our pets have received.

I had my dog for almost 15 years and she got hit by a car and Dr. Kafai was the ONLY vet after desperately searching for a clinic to operate on her for a fair and affordable price because of his love for animals. Even if the clinic smells a little it's because he actually FOSTERS dogs that people just drop off to abandon.. my current dog is one of his fosters that he SAVED ..so get it right before you judge his clinic..it' actually inspiring for what he does for pets. I truly recommend him and can say that he helped my family and our dog more than any other money pinching clinic.

Worst animal hospital I've ever been to. The bulding smells very bad which made me question if they use clean equipment or not. I neutered my cat here and they let my cat go as soon as he came out of surgery instead of keeping him for a couple of hours so the effect of the drugs used in surgery could be minimized. This caused my cat to start bleeding when he got home and put him in alot of pain. We decided to take him back to check if everything's normal and they decided to keep my cat for the night at that place. Next morning when we went to pick our cat up we find out he was sleeping in his carrier which we left him in and it was filled with his poop since they didnt clean him up. That is the worst thing that can happen after a surgey since it can increase the chances of an infection. This was the worst experience of my life I would NOT recommend this place to anyone with pets. If you like your pet STAY OUT of this place. The cheaper price is not worth the pain of seeing your pet suffering.

This is the most considerate, experienced vet I have ever met. Our dog was very ill for years, many surgeries, great expense, Dr.Kafai was the only one to look deeply enough to diagnose the problem. Which, by the way needed medication not surgery. His clinic charges are about 25% less than the neibouring vet. Read his CV very impressive. I recommend him without hesitation!!!
