Wycliffe Village Veterinary Clinic

I have been the owner of 4 dogs for the last 20 years and have been in several animal clinic and never been happy before finding this clinic 2 years ago. Mostly are taking advantage of our emotional moments and over charge us in critical times. Prior finding this clinic, one of my dogs had a bump which her vet wanted to do the surgery and I thought I need the second opinion and I took her here, where she got fine after taking a few pills. The fee is cheaper than anywhere else and the care is the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else EVER AGAIN. I would strongly recommend here to everyone. Dr. Mankarious is the best. I doubt that you will find a more caring and professional doctor for your dog or cat. This was the best decision I ever made for my puppy. She had ate something she wasn't suppose to and the doctor had did a marvellous job in saving her because any later and my puppy wouldn't be with me today. I thought I was being careful but obviously I need to be a much better daddy and watch everything she puts in her mouth, thank you so much for taking care of her when she got bit and all the questions I had since I got her you are truly amazing! I was looking for a vet in my area and Dr. Mankarious and Simpson Veterinary Clinic/Wycliffe Veterinary Clinic came highly-recommended from an acquaintance I met through running club. What a wonderful recommendation that turned out to be! Not long after Dr. Mankarious became our vet, my dog Morty developed a fast-growing tumor between the pads of his paws. It was frequently bleeding and he was constantly bothering it. Dr. Mankarious created a comprehensive treatment plan that included epsom salt soaks and antibiotic treatment prior to surgery, surgery, and oral and powdered antibiotics post-surgery. Morty healed beautifully. And afterwards I scheduled follow up surgery for a small (but pink and growing) tumor that had grown on his hind leg. Dr. Mankarious was able to remove that using local anesthetic. While Morty was in for the second procedure and Dr. Mankarious also lasered off a growth that had developed right on the border of Morty's mouth and nose. I did notice and have concern about this growth, but with its location, it was clear that it couldn't be cut away. I hadn't considered laser removal as option, but Dr. Mankarious took care of this as well. Again - perfect healing, no scars, and a happy dog. I had opted to have my dog's tumors sent off for testing so that we could determine whether they were cancerous or benign and to have them staged. While the tumors were able to be tested for cancer, it turns out the university lab was no longer providing staging. Dr. Mankarious told me about this in the follow up visit and refunded the cost for the part of the testing that involved staging. This was not something I was questioning. The fact that the doctor made such an effort to be aboveboard and diligent in his billing practices was extremely impressive to me. (The great news -- the growth was benign, so no staging was needed anyway!) The staff at Simpson and Wycliffe (the two locations that Dr. Mankarious works at) are professional and helpful. I have never felt pushed to purchase additional services, which is a problem I have encountered at other vets. Dr. Mankarious always spent ample time describing procedures and giving clear follow up instructions. His charges for services were reasonable. With a dog who is nearing 9 years old, it's so important for me to have great care for my dog as I want him to be happy, healthy, and long-lived. Dr. Mankarious and his staff are so gentle and kind that even after two surgeries Morty still loves visiting the clinic. They are wonderful!!! Read Less

Dr. Mankarious was very professional in treating my cat and went out of his way to help us out. The prices are reasonable, and he shows that he looks out for my wallet and provided some alternatives before considering to go with the surgery option.Read Less
