Highly recommended animal hospital. You know that mysterious, caring and always available "vet" all these internet sites recommend you take your pet to? Well, my wife and I always wondered who that might be. A few years ago, we finally found him!
In this world of monetized dignity, Dr. Panahandeh is more than a veterinarian. He's also a God-father to all the pets he sees. For us, having a 14 year old dog means waking up every morning, feeling lucky to see Lucy alive and healthy for another day.
Dr. Panahandeh, his lovely wife and his staff have been essential to Lucy's longevity and happiness. We've had 2 surgeries, many emergency visits and countless drop-ins at Dr. Panahandeh's office. Not once have we felt not cared for, overcharged or taken advantage of. Quite the opposite in fact.
This doctor has treated our beloved Lucy with utmost respect, love and care. Meanwhile, he's also been understanding of the financial weight these beloved pets can be. He does not go overboard with tests, medicine or procedures. He explains things in detail and calmly.
Dr. Panahandeh's high availability, accountability and caring nature will see us returning to him for as long as we have pets and access to his office!

I recently got a little puppy and Dr.Panahandeh has been extremely helpful in helping me take care of my pet and make sure he gets everything he needs. Dr.Panahandeh also has made himself available to his patients 24 hours , which is amazing. I had an incident last night j i was panicing and called the dr and he told me what to do and then came to vet to see my puppy and make sure hes okay. Great place, very reasonable pricing and highly reccommended.

Took our young kitten to see Dr. John for an exam and some blood test. We were not very happy with his services. Right away you can tell he doesn't talk much with you. He examine our kitten and suggested sedation for our kitten before the blood test. Once he did the blood test he sends an email saying kitten has liver disease. That's it. No explanation or anything. We had to call him multiple times to get clarifications on the lab reference values for young kittens vs older cats. He was not very receptive. I suggest you find someone else if you want a vet who is friendly and can communicate better.

My kitty Laifu had serious blockage issue and I took him to see Dr. John. Laifu was hospitalized for two days under Dr. John and staff (Dani?? i never catch her name ... sorry!) care. I could tell doc and staff genuinely care about Laifu, and I'm really grateful for that. Just want to say thank you!! Staff is so caring and the communication is superb! I would definitely come back for regular visits and recommend to my fellow pet owners.

I've taken my dog to a few different vets and to date Dr. John has been the best. He is patient and good at explaining the treatments and best of all, makes himself available. He is the first doctor to not use scare tactics. Best of all, this vet is very close to us which makes it very convenient. Staff here is also very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend if you are uncomfortable with what your current vet has told you to get a second opinion, it's totally worth it. Thank you Dr. John and staff:)

He is the first doctor to not use scare tactics. Best of all, this vet is very close to us which makes it very convenient. Staff here is also very helpful and friendly. My 7 month old boston terrier, Baci, sometimes gets into trouble. Last night he accidentally ate a piece of bone so we called Dr.John and he met us at his clinic right away to induce vomiting. It didn't matter that it was saturday night. Dr.John is passionate about what he does and always responds during emergencies, even after work hours. He's patient, knowledgeable, and experienced. We're lucky to have him.

Dr. John was very considerate and seemed like he really cared about my little guy. My dog calmed down and seemed comfortable when the vet held him and spoke to him and that meant a lot to me. My dog needs to have dental work done and my vet downtown quoted me almost double what Dr. John quoted. I would have paid anything for my puppy but I also don't want to be taken advantage of. The clinic is clean and the receptionist patient and accommodating. I think we just found our forever vet. Thank you!

My little guy was seen that night at the university of Guelph. And operated on that same evening. End result he wouldn't have made it through the night

After removing a cyst and multiple rotten teeth in his mouth, my dog's oral health and eating habits have improved. Dr. John is very knowledgeable and humble, he will not push clients to perform expensive tests unless it's necessary. I would highly recommend this clinic!

Took our young kitten to see Dr. John for an exam and some blood test. We were not very happy with his services. Right away you can tell he doesn't talk much with you. He examine our kitten and suggested sedation for our kitten before the blood test. Once he did the blood test he sends an email saying kitten has liver disease. That's it. No explanation or anything. We had to call him multiple times to get clarifications on the lab reference values for young kittens vs older cats. He was not very receptive. I suggest you find someone else if you want a vet who is friendly and can communicate better.

My kitty Laifu had serious blockage issue and I took him to see Dr. John. Laifu was hospitalized for two days under Dr. John and staff (Dani?? i never catch her name ... sorry!) care. I could tell doc and staff genuinely care about Laifu, and I'm really grateful for that. Just want to say thank you!! Staff is so caring and the communication is superb! I would definitely come back for regular visits and recommend to my fellow pet owners.
Staff(Dani?) speaks Chinese and she is soooooo nice, caring, patient and helpful. Greately appreciate her help!

I've taken my dog to a few different vets and to date Dr. John has been the best. He is patient and good at explaining the treatments and best of all, makes himself available. He is the first doctor to not use scare tactics. Best of all, this vet is very close to us which makes it very convenient. Staff here is also very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend if you are uncomfortable with what your current vet has told you to get a second opinion, it's totally worth it. Thank you Dr. John and staff:)

My 7 month old boston terrier, Baci, sometimes gets into trouble. Last night he accidentally ate a piece of bone so we called Dr.John and he met us at his clinic right away to induce vomiting. It didn't matter that it was saturday night. Dr.John is passionate about what he does and always responds during emergencies, even after work hours. He's patient, knowledgeable, and experienced. We're lucky to have him.

Dr. John was very considerate and seemed like he really cared about my little guy. My dog calmed down and seemed comfortable when the vet held him and spoke to him and that meant a lot to me. My dog needs to have dental work done and my vet downtown quoted me almost double what Dr. John quoted. I would have paid anything for my puppy but I also don't want to be taken advantage of. The clinic is clean and the receptionist patient and accommodating. I think we just found our forever vet. Thank you!

after explaining the situation a 2nd time the guy on the phone said it's not an emergency and to wait for the next day to see my regular vet....
Guess what
My little guy was seen that night at the university of Guelph. And operated on that same evening. End result he wouldn't have made it through the night

I have taken my dog, Terri , for the last year to get his annual vaccines and have done dental cleaning. After removing a cyst and multiple rotten teeth in his mouth, my dog's oral health and eating habits have improved. Dr. John is very knowledgeable and humble, he will not push clients to perform expensive tests unless it's necessary. I would highly recommend this clinic!
