We were faced with the decision to say goodbye to our 11 year old Doberman when he suddenly became unable to walk or stand. Not an easy thing to do. Everyone at the Richmond Animal hospital treated us...
We were faced with the decision to say goodbye to our 11 year old Doberman when he suddenly became unable to walk or stand. Not an easy thing to do. Everyone at the Richmond Animal hospital treated us and our dog with the utmost compassion. We are very grateful that they were there for us and saw us on such short notice. They allowed us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. Thank you.

Starting bringing my dog here this past year. Everyone is very friendly, professional and caring to both my dog and myself. Being able to purchase my dog's food online is also a real convenience. I am so happy I switched vets.

I had been going to the same vet for years out of convenience in Barrhaven. I needed a quick appointment and they fit me in last minute, at the end of the day on Friday :) The Vet technician was friendly and engaging. The Vet was awesome, thorough and quick. He spent the time he needed but didn't push $40 a bag food or extra tests "just to make sure"... just did what was needed. I didn't price compare but I know I paid less. I found my forever vet!

My Fiancé and I usually go to a different vet and have only experienced this one vet...upon an accident with a friend's dog, this doctor took in our 5 month old puppy without an appointment, even though he had other appointments. He was very kind and understanding to my anxiety and also explained what had happened to our puppy in detail and offered two options. He also explained the pros and cons of each option. His "bedside manners", his attention to us as owners and our puppy blew us away. This doctor is phenomenal and I cannot express in enough words how much of a difference a good vet is compared to one that is there for the money. I wish more veterinarians were more like him. He is *super* thorough, super kind and his attention to detail is amazing. Before inserting stitches into my puppy, he showed me where he will be putting them and then showed me afterwards what he did... he gave us a peace of mind and made sure to let us know to call him if we have any other questions...
Superb work and we will be switching vets...even though it is 45 mins away from where we live, it's worth it. Thank you.
