I can't say enough good things about my recent experience with Dr.Julia and her team at Court Animal Hospital. I had my dog neutered and throughout the whole experience they were very helpful, informative, and accommodating to my budget. They explained each part of the bill beforehand and what was essential vs recommended and why. Not to mention above all else, they treated my dog like part of their family too. I was given the option to stay before and after his operation and it helped his recovery so much not waking up anxious and alone. They offer excellent support for post op as well. This past week are six-year-old cat became very ill and unfortunately while waiting for payday our funds were very limited. After several hours of calling around we finally found this place. From our very first interaction over the phone until the time we picked Reid our cat up (which happened to be two days later due to requiring emergency surgery) we were treated with respect and dignity. The staff was amazingly friendly and it was very clear that their top priority is taking care of our pet. Reid had suffered A condition called pyrometra and without the surgery would've passed away within a day or two. Tonight we are blessed to have her kitty back home thanks to the amazing work from this team of compassionate and dedicated individuals. The whole staff is really nice and care about the animals. I'm a single mother, and one of the cats accidentally got out and got hurt. This is the best place to take your pet in an emergency or just for a check up. They will treat you like person and not look how deep your wallet is. We have spend almost three days here trying to save our one year old Cane Corso. Just over a week ago I said goodbye to my companion shadow. I just want to thank the staff for the care and understanding. I will not make this a novel to read, but I especially want to thank Dr. Murray for allowing me to sit on the floor with my girl for 4 hours before finally making the hardest decision we have to make. Not once did I feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience to her or her day. She was patient and kind and when the time came she showed compassion and gave my friend a couple extra pats. I have been to many vets in the past but here your animal is made to feel like home and as if they are their pet too. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Murray. My cat fell sick, weight loss and recently started wheezing. I had initially attributed the weight loss to stress as a new cat had moved in with us a cpl weeks prior. The wheezing had me concerned though so I made an appointment at Court after a few people recommended it. Dr. Murray told me that my cat was actively dying and that she had to be put to sleep. I was in no way prepared for this, my cat had been hiding in the closet for the past cpl weeks. My wish was to take her home and hold her and say goodbye that night, perhaps bring her back there the following day or to another vet. Dr. Murray told me that, if I were to take my cat home, that she would call the humane society on me. They would come, see that my cat is dying, and take her from me and have her put down and that the way they do it, would not be pleasant. As I struggled to process this information and the fact I was going to have to put my cat down, Dr. Murray continued to make me feel like a horrible owner (anybody knows me, know how much I LOVE my animals and foster for a local organization) with statements such as "well, you let her get to this point" (Gracie had only gradually been losing weight and she was a small cat, it was only the last cpl weeks her weight loss become drastic and the wheezing began). I felt hurried and pressured into making the decision. As I stood crying like a mad woman, she asked her vet tech, shortly, "do we need this room for another apt?". I also stood crying for at least 10 minutes without being offered even a tissue. Eventually after wiping snot and tears all over my sweater, I was given a tissue. Anyways, we ended up putting her down, and she went to sleep peacefully and I'm thankful for that. I chose private cremation. She was cremated Jan 16th. I was told I would be called when she was ready to be picked up. I ended up having to call myself 2 weeks later as I had not heard from them and Gracie had been there waiting to be picked up. I just can't stress enough what a horrible, horrible experience I had with this vet. Read Less

For 2 years I have repeatedly taken my dog to court animal hospital. they never did any tests. they tried so many different foods and drugs. Not once did they do a xray to see why she is vomiting so much. Took her to a new vet my dog is very sick. Her esophagus is enlarged, her heart is so enlarged it fills the whole chest cavity which causes her to couch terribly. We do not know if she will make it. Do NOT go to this vet Read Less

I have been taking my dog there for years. She loves going and the staff have always been kind and patient with us.  They know us by name when we walk in even though we only go about twice a year for check ups and flea meds.The vets are also very open to discussing varied treatment with your pet which I found very refreshing.With regard to the smell the other commenter spoke of, are you aware it is an animal hospital? I found it no ore offensive than any other vet I have been to in other cities. I would recommend Court Animal Hospital as they provide good service, are fair in their pricing and also do a lot of good work in the community with regard to animals. Read Less
