All our animals have been moved over to Huntington within the last 4 months.
Endo has been there a long time and my bf loves the care they put in, so I switched my dog over.
Then my male cat, Touché, who hasn't seen a vet in years because he turns into the devils spawn when he does, got a urinary blockage.
They took no time getting all of his records switched to them, they switched my other cat in the process for me.
They were already booked for a week solid, but cats who get blocked need vet care immediately. One of the vets there made time for him the day I called. (Thank you!)
Dr Tanya saw him and was AMAZING with him. Touché wasn't pleased to be there, but Dr Tanya brought such a calm and positive vibe, she was able to do a full check up (ie., gums, teeth, eyes, ears, organs, spine, rear end). He hasn't had one in 4-5 years with any vet because I refused to get him heavily sedated for a simple checkup.
Dr Tanya has amazing bedside manners and is very personable.
Cost wise, I'm not wealthy and helping a blocked cat can be very pricey, but the alternative would be euthanizing and there is no way my 7 year old cat will be stripped of the next 5+ years of his life.
They helped me there too. Anything Dr Tanya could do to help Touché, she did. Above and beyond care was taken and for that, all my animals are going to join their regulars group.
I can't even give big enough "Thank you!" that I would like to for bringing such piece and mind to myself. Touché is my first pet and losing him would have been beyond devastating.
On another positive note, Touché is doing great. He's drooling on my lap right now, happy as a clam.
