General Info
The Talbot Animal Clinic (TAC) opened in 1976 at 930 Talbot St. in St. Thomas (it’s current location). It was the second clinic opened by the Elgin Veterinary Clinics, which was owned by Dr. Sven Meeuwisse, Dr. Harry Short, and Dr. Steve Stewart. Dr. Stewart was chosen as the principle veterinarian for the TAC, and has been practicing here ever since.
In 2004 Dr. Adam Mahovlich joined the Elgin Veterinary Clinics team. He became a partner in 2005 and has been working at Talbot Animal Clinic ever since.
The TAC is a modern, fully equipped small animal veterinary clinic, serving St. Thomas and the surrounding area.

Dr. Mahavolich was so wonderful in the car in my 17-year old cat, including when her time came. I won't take my cats anywhere else.

Took my 2 cats there to get spayed. I was generally happy with the service and care they showed my cats. Only small complaint is the woman at the front desk was unapproachable and quiet.

Had to rush my baby there on Saturday, I was very nervous about leaving him all weekend, amazing staff Willie Nelson was well we'll taken care of :)
