In the past I have been very satisfied with the service from College Park.
Today I called to let them know that the prescription they had filled for my dog was the wrong medication.
It was for eyegel, filled early August. I have been giving him the gel since then. It is a small box, covered almost entirely with the prescription label. I ordered the gel for infection. They gave me the one for inflamation ($70). His infection has not improved.
When I thought to check the medication and discovered the mistake, I called. The nice woman who answered the phone admitted the error and presented a fair solution. They would give me the proper medication and refund the difference. I would have been ok with that - despite the fact that my dog has had this infection longer than he should have.
However, the vet said that he would not refund it because I had used it. You told me to use it. It is not up to me to check your work. He said that "Realistically the dog should have been on that medication the whole time", well, he was, and he still has an infection. He proposed that I schedule a visit

College Park Animal Hospital went above and beyond to save the life of my cat Ari. He was viciously attacked and ripped open by a dog in the neighbourhood. It was extremely serious and with diligent care he pulled through. The doctor didn’t charge for the re-checks that went on every few days for a month until he healed almost fully. The doctor promised he would do all he could to save our beautiful kitty and he kept his word. I couldn’t have afforded it if he didn’t offer his services many times at no cost. I am forever grateful for what he did for us. I highly recommend his services to people who want their animal truly cared for and put as priority. 💜

Took my 10 week old kitten for a check up as she had been experiencing some concerning symptoms. Upon visual examination of the kitten the veterinarian on staff concluded she was fine and prescribed some medications with less than clear instructions on what symptoms exactly these prescriptions would address. Came home to my kitten dead on the floor three days later which was a very traumatizing experience. In an apparent shock I contacted the vet and was told to come to the clinic. Here, a receptionist pronounced the kitten dead while the veterinarian hid in the back out of sight. They then proceeded to charge a substantial fee to deal with the kitten's remains with out a single apology from anyone. If you care about your pet I would absolutely recommend staying away from this clinic. Don't be fooled by the comparatively low prices - you get what you pay for.

Amazing office and staff my dog likes it much better than our previous office. Yesterday(a Sunday) Dr.Afzal came into the office to look at my cat, and unfortunately had to put her down. He was very kind, and explained step by step what would happen. My children wanted to be with our beloved girl the entire time and he was great about that. Thank you Dr.Afzal for being there in a hard time for our family.

The vet there tried to prescribe BRAVECTO to my mother's dog which is highly toxic and proven to kill dogs and could not even help her treat her dog's yeast infection properly and instead advised her to euthanize her 18 month old pup -- UNBELIEVABLE! I would never take my dog to this facility.

We recently had an incident with our beloved dog and our old vet basically said they couldn't help us, not only did the staff here take us with no records for our dog but they continued care to keep her happy, energetic and pain free for the last year of her life! I cannot say enough good things about the staff! My daughter loves them so much she brings her fur babies from London to be seen here.

Dr Afzal & his team are amazing! Saved my cats life last Thursday after discovering he had a blocked bladder & after x rays & blood works discovered he also had stones. They went above & beyond to not only operate & remove them but also to have a full analysis done on them so we knew how to change his diet to keep him healthy in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone who like me wants the best care for their fur babies. Special thanks to Marcia for making me feel better during her phone calls & really explaining things to me & also for the calls once we'd taken our baby home to see how he was doing. You guys rock!

Dr. Afzal was great with us today...he went beyond the point of advice....he took time out of his day to let us know we had options...none of which would be beneficial to him, but would ultimately save us around $2500...he also did all the footwork from phone calls to comparing prices and asking all our questions for us.....THIS is the kind of Vet we want looking after the newest member of our family!! Thanks again Dr. Afzal!!

Today I called to let them know that the prescription they had filled for my dog was the wrong medication.
It was for eyegel, filled early August. I have been giving him the gel since then. It is a small box, covered almost entirely with the prescription label. I ordered the gel for infection. They gave me the one for inflamation ($70). His infection has not improved.

Amazing office and staff my dog likes it much better than our previous office. Yesterday(a Sunday) Dr.Afzal came into the office to look at my cat, and unfortunately had to put her down. We recently had an incident with our beloved dog and our old vet basically said they couldn't help us, not only did the staff here take us with no records for our dog but they continued care to keep her happy, energetic and pain free for the last year of her life!
