No compassion - did they even remember their oath? In September my 7 yr old Bernese Mountain Dog who had meningitis (SRMA) relapsed and I got absolutely no support for any of the vets - all they could do is fill a prescription and charge me. I was completely left on my own to handle his treatment - did not even check in to see if he was ok. The least they should have done if they were unqualified would be to consult with a canine neurologist on my behalf since I could not drive that far with an ill dog and time was critical. I also (had) a beautiful Boxer his name was Charlie and he injured his front paw / joint jumping down out of my vehicle before I could catch him. After 3 days there was no improvement so I took him to see Dr. Sandy who I had been going to for years and again she was no help -- you call all day and all you get is their voice message no one answers the phone - when you have a critical emergency this is unacceptable! Then they keep making me wait in my vehicle in the parking lot when there is NO PANDEMIC I am not allowed to go into their clinic with my dogs and have no idea what they are doing or not doing. They said they did an xray and could not find any problem and sent me home with gabapentin (pain killers). He got progressively worse 3 days later I called many many times all day and kept getting their answering machine and finally got a call back at the end of their business day and she told me to put some hot moist towels on him and that I would have to wait until the next week to bring him in. He was in so much pain and I could not give him any more pain meds and he could not even walk across the floor - to get him down the stairs and outside was excruciating for him and he panted and cried all night... I could not lift him into my vehicle to drive 30 min to the vet. 3 days later very early in the morning the end of November after getting him outside to pee he collapsed under the tree in my front yard in the snow. He was giving up and I needed someone to help me so he would not suffer. I wrapped him in electric blanket connected with an extension chord and ran in the house to call Lakeshore Vet in desperation. They would not help me. They would not send anyone out. They have a mobile vet service and after pleading they refused and said I would have to muzzle him and get a neighbor to help put him in my vehicle and drive out to have him euthanized. I was so distraught there was no one to help me and that he was suffering. They said if I didn't like their service to find another vet and hung up on me. Completely void of decency and No compassion for the life of a dog - they are only grabbing the $$$. I would never take any companion animal to them ever again. I laid with my dog holding him in the snow and 2 hours later I was able to get a Corunna Veterinarian (a REAL doctor who respected his oath) to come out and humanely put him down so he would no longer suffer. No one's loving dog should ever have to go through something like this. Lakeshore Vet caused him so much unnecessary suffering - I was a client for 10 years and this is how they treated us - like my dog and I didn't matter.

If there is one thing that can be said about Lakeshore Veterinary Clinic, it is that they truly care about animals. My fiancée and I have two cats, and upon arriving a the clinic for the first time we were surprised to find out that there are two seperate and distinct enterances to the building: one for dogs and one for cats. Each entrance seems to be tailored for the particular species, for instance the cat entrance was adorned with cat toys, informative posters pertaining to various cat-health topics, etc. All in all, it is a very pet-friendly environment, and what's more is the staff are clearly all very devoted to their work. I would highly recommend Lakeshore to anyone in the area looking for a new veterinary clinic.

I've only been to Lakeshore Vet once but was blown away by the incredibly friendly, professional and expert service I received. They went above and beyond for my old pup and made sure to give an informed and logical recommendation. Unlike many other vets I have been to in the past, I never once felt like they were more concerned about my credit card than my pet. Highly recommend these guys.

Had a great experience with this clinic today. My dog had an eye evisceration on Monday and I've been having difficulty giving him his antibiotic drops because of the amount of discharge as it heals. I went to this clinic today and they cleaned the eye up and took great care of my recovering pooch. With all of the fuss my dog caused at home I was amazed at how well behaved he was for them. They have very friendly staff and they seemed to really care.

Both our dogs go here and we trust them completely.

If there is one thing that can be said about Lakeshore Veterinary Clinic, it is that they truly care about animals. My fiancée and I have two cats, and upon arriving a the clinic for the first time we were surprised to find out that there are two seperate and distinct enterances to the building: one for dogs and one for cats. Each entrance seems to be tailored for the particular species, for instance the cat entrance was adorned with cat toys, informative posters pertaining to various cat-health topics, etc. All in all, it is a very pet-friendly environment, and what's more is the staff are clearly all very devoted to their work. I would highly recommend Lakeshore to anyone in the area looking for a new veterinary clinic.

I've only been to Lakeshore Vet once but was blown away by the incredibly friendly, professional and expert service I received. They went above and beyond for my old pup and made sure to give an informed and logical recommendation. Unlike many other vets I have been to in the past, I never once felt like they were more concerned about my credit card than my pet. Highly recommend these guys.

The staff was extremely professional but more importantly took their time to make CoCo feel relaxed and calm. The vet even got down on the floor with her the whole time. They made sure to cover everything they could as far as getting to know CoCo medical history.

Had a great experience with this clinic today. My dog had an eye evisceration on Monday and I've been having difficulty giving him his antibiotic drops because of the amount of discharge as it heals. I went to this clinic today and they cleaned the eye up and took great care of my recovering pooch. With all of the fuss my dog caused at home I was amazed at how well behaved he was for them. They have very friendly staff and they seemed to really care.
