Had my 5 month old puppy in for shots today and the entire staff were very friendly. The vet Dr. Gad was very calming to my puppy and after his shots I said when we got home i would give him a treat and the next thing I know they gave him a treat. I brought my puppy here for his first couple of shots in 2014.The lady vet was very competent and calm when dealing with my puppy.Although the other reviews were right, the vet did seemed rushed, there were at least 3 other owners with their pets waiting to be checked.  So overall, with the price and time she allotted - it was fair trade-off.The secretaries seemed a little floozy though - but this was from over a year ago; so who knows Read Less

The vet wouldn't do a thorough exam and was a jerk to me and his staff. I can deal with that but my pets are paying the price for his negligence. This place is awful.

I agree with review, pricing is very good here.  Vet assistants are great, but the vet herself is ok, she seems to rush people out and doesn't do a through rough examination, but you do pay for what you get.  Because of the limited hours it's good to find a local vet for emergencies and come here for the routine shots, etc and if you know exactly what you need. i found a kitten in a bag on the streetcar almost 3 weeks ago.. i have finally found a home for 'moose' but the person is on a fixed income so i offered to help cover the costs for the shots and neutering.. then i started calling around and couldn't believe how expensive it has gotten and how vets are not regulated.. the prices were all over the place. so i called the city's animal services number and the lady on the phone recommended Animal Vaccination Service.. she said their prices were really good.so i called to get some quotes and they are the best deal in town!! $55 including taxes for the first booster shot & de-worming $55 including tax for the second booster shot $55 including taxes for the last booster & rabies shotmale cats to be neutered is $120.. then we found out 'moose' is really a 'stella'!!! ha! so female cats are $225 to be neutered.. at 6 months old of course. we saw dr. gad and she is wonderful.. all the staff there are wonderful.. so friendly and nice.. and they really love animals!! they are a walk-in only so no appointments. i will definitely be going back there for any of my animal needs. and their parliament/queen location is where the animals get their surgeries.. you just pay the eglinton ave east location prices!  which is right across the street from kennedy stn so very convenient. tip: walk under the bridge to cross the street.Tues & Thurs 2-6pmSat 10am-3pmthe movie 'streetcar named desire'.. marlon brando yells out: "STELLA!!" and that is how kitty got her name since she was found on the college streetcar! :0) Read Less

I agree with review, pricing is very good here.  Vet assistants are great, but the vet herself is ok, she seems to rush people out and doesn't do a through rough examination, but you do pay for what you get.  Because of the limited hours it's good to find a local vet for emergencies and come here for the routine shots, etc and if you know exactly what you need.
