DO NOT LET THIS VET PERFORM ANY PROCEDURES ON YOUR PETS. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've never loved this vet, always thought they were expensive, very impersonal and not attentive, however brought my cats here out of convenience of how close it was to my house. I've been bringing my cats here for 10 years and never was "wowed" but they never hurt my cats either so I stayed. Until recently. I brought my 10 year old cat in because his fur wasn't looking healthy, it was greasy and lots of dandruff. The first 2 times I brought him in they just checked him and said he's fine, the third time they diagnosed him with diabetes and we started him on insulin. He started losing weight but when checked, vet said he was still doing fine and didn't schedule a follow up. They also strongly suggested a tooth extraction so we went ahead. After the surgery he developed a cough, brought him to the vet and they said that maybe it was discomfort from the surgery so sent him home and said he was fine again. Didn't even bother inspecting the problem. Then he continued deteriorating so I brought him to another vet that my family goes to and raves about. Immediately that vet started running all kinds of tests, bloodwork, Xrays, urine samples etc. Turns out, my cats didnt even have diabetes anymore (not even 2 months later), so I was injecting him with insulin for no reason while this vet didn't even mention the fact that cats don't need insulin long term and didn't bother checking in or following up, I would've kept giving it to him had I not brought him there. The cough persisted so we kept running tests to find the problem and after 2 moths of him suffering and coughing, his lung collapsed. Highly due to misuse of his breathing tubes during his tooth extraction. We had to put him down as he was in great pain and we are all devastated. This vet didn't even bother running any tests or checking on him, just shooed us off with a "he's fine", after they got their money for the surgery and meds. I can't even begin to explain the pain and hurt we feel right now. We trust these vets with our babies lives and for them to treat them so poorly is infuriating. Will never be returning. Read Less

Vet was able to get cat checked over after sedative. Not thrilled about sedative, but everyone had to be safe. Got the exam and brought her shots up to date and took blood. Cat seems to be improving at home with diet updates. Need to return for small amount of special diet food. So far, best outcome I could have expected. Some of the staff are very nice people. We experienced a lot of up-selling here (we were able to tolerate this, as long as the proper treatment was given to our dog). The reason why we would never come here again is because the overnight dog service they provided was horrible! We trusted them to take care of our dog while we were away on a trip. I've been their customers since 1996 after I have my first dog visiting this clinic.  After I lost my dog, I've got a new puppy and thought it will be great to continue my loyal at the warden aniaml hospital.  However, as time flies...the management of this clinic have changed.  I will have to say I missed Heidi who used to be the receptionist and now they have hired a new girl for a year or so who's name is "Jan" or "Jen". I've never experienced such receptionist who had given me nothing but false information and frustrations. 1. The night before my dog's grooming day, She called me at 8:30pm and left message on my phone to follow up the schedule that I've made a month in advance. (she could call me during the regular business hours).2. The next day, She called me at 8:30am, while my husband was dropping off the dog at the clinic for Grooming. She tried to upsell me by some kind of vaccination, and told me that the vaccinations for my dog's rabies has expired (as I know this will take for another year).  Then I questioned her about it, and she said it's the Distemper that needs to be taken in every year. and I've questioned her "then why are you saying it is the rabies?" then she pause and pretended she did not hear it and did not apologize.3. Then she called me at 3pm where I'm still at work and having a meeting...and to confirm if i'm going to be present for my dog's vaccination. that being said, my husband had confirmed that in the morning that we are not going to be present during the vaccination. So, I'm not sure how many customers of this clinic had any experiences similar to mine...but with all these experiences from there...I think it is time to say goodbye to this clinic. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! We just got our first family puppy - a 10-weeks Louie recently. We had no any ideas about vet clinic before. I had done many researches to figure out where we should go for Louie's coming home check. I absolutely respected the owner of this clinic actually response to the reviewers on their complaints. So we gave us a try to go into this clinic. it turned out very good experience we had. We had Dr. Kavonic who is very professional and helpful for Louie, and also being very kind to explains everything in details we asked. The receptionists are absolutely lovely, helpful and so so so friendly! Melissa is one of the best ones. She has great personalities to cheer up person with their puppies whatever situation the owners had, and very helpful for Louie. At the second time when we went into the clinic pretty later that day (almost 8pm) to drop off something there, she still very passionately helped out and answered all our questions. I am happy to say that I believe that we are lucky to find the great vet clinic that it's near our home as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and is considering it as Louie's boarding place if we need. Tracy W. Read Less

Very friendly staff! I got my dog groomed here and the groomer made sure to sit down and talk to me about my dog's habits, likes and dislikes, and what look I wanted. Often you get groomers who have a standard cut where they shave a dog completely but this groomer took her time and made Charlie look lovely. There was an issue with booking an appointment where the receptionist mixed up the appointment with another dog with the same name which is why I've docked one star. Despite this mix up, the groomer was excellent and Charlie will be back. Read Less

This review is long overdue. I brought my chihuahua here for her initial vaccinations. I don't think they have much experience with toy breeds. I read online that toy breeds should NOT get the same amount of vaccines as a regular dog. The first vet Dr.Anna was wonderful and knew about the vaccine protocol for small dogs so she gave 1/2 the rabies dose. My pup reacted fine afterwards. When I brought her to get her followup rabies vaccine, the male vet did not agree with me. He also seemed afraid to touch her, like he wasn't used to treating small 5lbs animals.  So he gave my pup the full rabies vaccine. A few days later, my chihuahua developed a rash on her ears and her hair started falling out! I regret not sticking with my gut and following what I knew would be right for my dog! I stopped going here immediately and instead looked for a holistic vetenerary practice that was more align with my ideals. This place is probably good for large breeds. But they definitely don't know anything about small toy breed dogs.   I wish I could find a vet who specializes in toy breeds. Read Less

I've been bringing my pets here for many years now and they have always offered excellent care and good advice. My boyfriend used to live in Scarborough when he was a kid so this was where they brought their family cat for yearly checkups. Even though he moved around a bit he came back here since this was where all his cat's records were - and it helps that they are open Saturdays and until 8pm every weeknight. A few years ago our cat was vomiting violently and had to be kept overnight and hooked up to an IV. It was expensive, but the vet gave us several options and didn't push us to make any hasty decisions. The same was true when that same kitty had to be put to sleep a few years ago. When I got my current cats there wasn't any question about where we would be taking them for their veterinary care.

Read Less

My dog tore her claw off and bleeding, bridletowne is close by and is closing on 8pm on Friday. Time was around 710pm so we called for help. The reception answered and refused to take care of my dog with very rude and impatient tone. The reason of refusal at 7:10PM was "We close at 8pm so we cant take your dog"...
